The first socket member also includes a base inside the conductive sleeve comprising a first matching hole configured to match to a first conductive pin of a first plug member. The connector also includes a second socket member. The second socket member includes a second matching hole configured to match to a second conductive pin of a second plug member, and a conductive body having outer threads configured to match to inner threads of the second plug member. The connector further includes a middle portion connected between the first socket member and the second socket member, the middle portion extending radically outwardly from a periphery of the middle portion.

The first clamp member includes a planar base plate having a first surface and a second surface. The planar base plate has at least two slots spaced apart on a longitudinal axis. At least two extension sections extend from the first surface of the planar base plate and being spaced apart along the longitudinal axis and closer to a center than the at least two slots. Each extension section includes a patterned cutout area configured to receive the rail. A plurality of threaded fasteners extend from the first surface of the planar base plate and being positioned outside the patterned cutout area along a transverse axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The second clamp member has a plurality of through-holes configured to receive the plurality of threaded fasteners and a planar surface facing toward the first surface of the first clamp member.

Abstract: A broadcast programming receiver is provided which includes a broadcast programming interface, a memory, a communication network interface, and output circuitry. The broadcast programming interface is configured to receive broadcast programming, while the output circuitry is configured to transfer the broadcast programming to an output device. The memory is configured to store data related to the broadcast programming. In one embodiment, the communication network interface is configured to receive the data related to the broadcast programming over a communication network from a second broadcast programming receiver and transfer the data to the memory. In another implementation, the communication network interface is configured to receive the data from the memory and send the data over the communication network to a second broadcast programming receiver.

The apparatus and systems include input and output enclosures with wiring therebetween and mechanisms for mounting the input and output enclosures adjacent to pre-cut wall openings. There exists at least one electrical input connector, disposed within the input enclosure, configured to electrically couple with a power source, and at least one electrical output connector, disposed within the output enclosure, configured to electrically couple with a wall-mounted appliance.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for presenting a television program to a viewer using a mobile television receiver. The television program is received at the mobile television receiver via a first signal transmitted by a signal source having a limited range. It is determined whether the mobile receiver will exit the limited range of the signal source and, before the mobile receiver exits the limited range of the signal source, an action is facilitated to allow the viewer to continue to view the television program. Actions that may be facilitated include tuning to an alternate source of the television program, obtaining a placeshifted media stream of the television program, recording the television program on a remote video recorder, or simply notifying the viewer that he or she is about to exit the limited range of the signal source.

The received video frame may be segmented into a plurality of blocks. A first value may be calculated for a first block of the plurality of blocks of the received video frame using pixel values of pixels present within the first block. The first value may be compared to a first reference value. The first reference value may correspond to a first reference block of one or more reference frames. Video decoder functionality of the video decoder device may be determined to be functional at least partially based on comparing the first value to the first reference value.

Abstract: An electrical device and/or a connected component is grounded utilizing a dedicated listed grounding conductor that permanently connects to a chassis of the electrical device and a grounded receptacle. The grounding conductor is dedicated to and listed for grounding the electrical device and/or connected components. The grounding conductor includes a first portion that is permanently connectible to a chassis of the electrical device, a second portion that is permanently connectible to the grounding receptacle, and a conductor portion that connects the first portion and second portion. In some implementations, the first portion may include a terminal lug that connects to a port of the chassis and may be secured by a nut that may require mechanical assistance to remove. In various implementations, the second portion may include a ring that is operable to receive a screw that mates with a screw hole of the grounding receptacle.

The customers to receive customer-specific information are selected, and a broadcast message is created that includes the customer-specific information, as well as an identifier for each receiver associated with the selected customers. The broadcast message is transmitted on the high-bandwidth connection to thereby allow each of the receivers associated with the selected customers to extract the customer-specific information based upon the identifier and to display the customer-specific information to the customer.
