    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device that includes a timing controller for outputting processed image signals to a source driver. The timing controller also includes a plurality of mapping circuits such as RSDS data mapping circuit and a mini-LVDS data mapping circuit. The mapping circuits are selectively connected to a differential amplitude generator by a switch element. The switch element is controlled by a control signal generated by a control signal generator formed and integrated on a printed circuit board separate from the timing controller. The switch element can additionally be controlled by automatically detecting a control signal from a source driver to select one of the mapping circuits after the timing controller is implemented in the liquid crystal display device.

    Abstract: An anti-theft security tag includes an engagement member having a first and second end securable within a housing by a crimping member for attachment to an article. In one embodiment, the housing supports an electronic article surveillance marker and may include a channel for receiving and securing at least one self crimping member. The self crimping member is sized to receive one end of the engagement member. The one or more crimping members may be disc shaped, including a plurality of fingers for securing one end of the engagement member, or may have a variety of other shapes. The self crimping members allow the engagement member to be moved downward, but not upward, so as to make the engagement loop smaller. In another embodiment, the crimping member is manual and a slot is disposed within the housing in alignment with the at least one crimping member, and is sized to receive a crimping tool to crimp the member and secure the line to the article within the housing.

The maximum voltage is applied when performing black color display on the display screen. At least the maximum voltage of the pixel electrode for blue color dpixB applied to the opposing electrode (Ecom) is made different from the maximum voltage of the pixel electrodes of the other colors applied to the opposing electrode (Ecom).

    Abstract: The present invention provides a phase transition method of an amorphous material, comprising steps of: depositing the amorphous material on a dielectric substrate; forming a cap layer on the amorphous material; depositing a metal on the cap layer; and crystallizing the amorphous material. According to the present invention, the surface of the amorphous material is protected by the cap layer, so that clean surface can be obtained and the roughness of the surface can be remarkably reduced during thermal process and sample handling. In addition, the cap layer is disposed between the amorphous material and the metal to diffuse the metal, so that the metal contamination due to the direct contact of the metal and the amorphous material in the conventional method can be remarkably reduced.
