Abstract: Dandruff and symptoms of dandruff can be treated using lipophilic agents or lipid precursor and/or promoters to strengthen the scalp. The lipophilic agents or lipid precursor and/or promoters are preferably used in conjunction with an antifungal agent which has activity against Malassezia spp, particularly Malassezia furfur. Suitable antifungal agents include those conventionally used for the treatment of dandruff including, for example, zinc pyrithrone (ZnPTO), octopirox and azole antifungal agents such as climbazole and ketocanazole. The antifungal agents may be used singularly or as a mixture of one or more antifungal agents.

Abstract: The present invention relates to sliding shoe sorters and methods of using those sorters. One or more pluralities of the shoes are interposed between the conveyors lateral edges and can be orderly advanced in lines. Controllers activate or deactivate the diverters which direct the sliding shoes toward one or more receivers, and the diversion of the shoes can result in the egressing of an item away from the conveyer. The receivers can be provided with rediverters to redirect the shoes toward the interposed sliding shoes. Items advanced by the conveyor may have a code placed about them, and after a code has been placed about the item to be sorted, a paradigm or paradigms responsive to the code can be created to orchestrate activation or deactivation of the diverters and/or the rediverters.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a concentrated liquid detergent composition with a pigment. The composition is color stable and the pigment remains stabily dispersed for at least 4 weeks at 37° C.

Abstract: A dispensing article, particularly for dispensing towelettes, is provided and includes a container body for storing the towelettes and a lid hingedly attached to the body. The container is formed from a floor panel, left and right side panels, front and rear panels. A button flap unitarily formed with the front wall includes a button projecting outwardly from a surface thereof. The lid includes a latch flap unitarily formed therewith and projecting downward toward the container body. An aperture is formed in the latch flap shaped to receive the button. Latch and button flaps are more flexible than other sections of the lid and container body panels. This flexibility allows for an easy to use, relatively inexpensive locking mechanism and provides good sealing characteristics. A refill canister can be placed within the container body.

Abstract: The present invention provides detergent compositions comprising variants of precursor phenol oxidizing enzymes, said precursor being derived from a Stachybotrys species. The precursor enzymes can be, for example, naturally-occurring or recombinant phenol oxidizing enzymes. The variant enzymes, in general, are obtained by modification of a precursor DNA sequence encoding the naturally-occurring or recombinant phenol oxidizing enzyme to generate the substitution of one or more amino acids in the encoded amino acid sequence. Variant enzymes are disclosed having properties which differ from those of their respective precursor enzymes, e.g., altered pH optima and/or phenol oxidizing activity and/or altered stability. The variant enzymes of the present invention are especially useful in detergent formulations, for example, to modify (bleach) the color associated with colored compounds.
