  • Patent number: 12045929
Abstract: A three-dimensional geometric image of an anatomical region is generated from a plurality of two-dimensional echographic image slices of the region. The image slices are filtered using a reaction-diffusion partial differential equation model before being arranged into a voxel space. Each voxel is then assigned a voxel value to create a volumetric data set from which the volumetric image can be rendered. The image is rendered from far to near, relative to a preset viewing direction, by an alpha-blending process. The alpha value at any given voxel can be determined using the magnitude of the density gradient vector at that voxel. Similarly, the direction of the density gradient vector at a given voxel can be used as a surface normal vector for shading purposes at that voxel.

  • Patent number: 12025287
Abstract: A multi-function lighting assembly provides multiple vehicle lighting functions (e.g., rear vehicle tail light and fog light) using a single printed circuit board substrate having mini or micro chip scale package LEDs or their unpackaged LED dies. LEDs for respective ones of the different lighting functions are separately controlled. LEDs controlled for respective functions can be interspersed, or disposed in different areas of LEDs having the same lighting function. A layer of optic components is disposed relative to the outputs of the LEDs and has different optic components for the LEDs of the respective lighting functions (e.g., collimator optics over LEDs controlled to provide a bright concentrated light output, and a diffuser over the LEDs controlled to provide a diffused light output). • Publication number: 20240197383
Abstract: A catheter and patch electrode system is provided for use with an ablation generator, having a 4-wire interface for improved impedance measurement. The 4-wire interface includes a pair of source connectors across which an excitation signal is produced and a pair of sense connector wires across which the impedance is measured. The system further includes a cable that connects the generator to a catheter that includes a shaft with an ablation tip electrode disposed at a distal end. The impedance sensor circuit produces an excitation signal across the source connectors, which is then carried to the catheter by the cable, then to the tip electrode, travels through the complex load (tissue volume), and returns to the generator via a patch electrode. The impedance is measured by observing the voltage drop across the sense connectors caused by the excitation signal.
