Abstract: A backplane connector includes a housing and a number of mounting modules. The housing includes a base defining a number of receiving grooves. The mounting modules are assembled to the receiving grooves. Each mounting module includes an insulating body, a terminal module installed in the insulating body, and a metal shield surrounding member sleeved on the insulating body. The metal shield surrounding member includes a surrounding portion and a mounting portion extending downwardly from the surrounding portion. The surrounding portion is formed by four side walls so as to form a fully-enclosed shielding cavity. As a result, the shielding effect and the grounding return effect of the backplane connector are improved.

Abstract: Provided is an antenna. The antenna includes a bottom case, a cover body, a first sealing member, and an antenna body. One of the bottom case and the cover body is provided with an annular recess, and the other of the bottom case and the cover body is provided with an annular ring. When the cover body covers the bottom case, the annular ring is inserted in the annular recess. A mounting cavity is formed between the cover body and the bottom case. The first sealing member is disposed within the annular recess and is formed by solidification of an adhesive. The antenna body is disposed within the mounting cavity and is electrically and/or communicatively connected to an external component via a cable.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a first insulating body, a conductive unit, a cable and a second insulating body. The cable includes a transverse portion fixed to the conductive unit and a longitudinal portion bent from the transverse portion. The second insulating body includes a rear wall. The electrical connector includes a filling cavity between the first insulating body and the rear wall. A connection position of the cable and the conductive unit is located in the filling cavity. The rear wall includes an opening communicating with the filling cavity. The longitudinal portion of the cable at least partially corresponds to the opening, so as to reduce the compression of the cable by the rear wall and improve reliability. The electrical connector includes a filling block filled in the filling cavity. A method for manufacturing the electrical connector is also disclosed.

Abstract: A pull strap connector includes an insulating body, a tongue plate, a cable, a pull strap unlocking device and a pull strap. The insulating body includes a mating space and a rear wall. The tongue plate includes a tongue portion extending into the mating space. The pull strap unlocking device includes a locking piece, and the locking piece includes a locking protrusion. The pull strap connector further includes a pull strap pressing member provided separately from the insulating body and fixed to the rear wall. The pull strap passes through the pull strap pressing member. The pull strap is configured to unlock in a downward direction to move the locking protrusion downwardly. A method of making the pull strap connector is also disclosed.

The electrical connector comprises a housing and a terminal member. The terminal member is disposed in the housing. The terminal member comprises a first terminal and a second terminal opposite to the first terminal. The first terminal comprises a first bump part and a first notch part, and the first bump part is disposed on one side of the first notch part. The second terminal comprises a second bump part and a second notch part, and the second bump part is disposed on one side of the second notch part. The first bump part is opposite to the second notch part, and the second bump is opposite to the first notch part. The electrical connector is plugged into the electrical mating connector to form an electrical connector assembly.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a connector with shielding elastic piece and a connector assembly. The connector with shielding elastic piece comprises a housing and an outer shielding elastic piece. The housing comprises an opening. One end of the outer shielding elastic piece is secured to an outer wall of the housing. The outer shielding elastic piece extends in a direction away from the opening and comprises a first contacting bump and a second contacting bump. The second contacting bump is disposed at one side of the first contacting bump away from the opening. The first contacting bump extends along the outer wall. The extending direction of the second contacting bump and the extending direction of the first contacting bump form an angle.

Abstract: A terminal module includes a number of conductive terminals and an insulating frame. The conductive terminal includes a contact portion, a connection portion and a transition portion connected to the contact portion. The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The contact portions of the differential signal terminals and the connection portions of the differential signal terminals are provided separately. As a result, the structure of the contact portions and the connection portions are simplified for easy manufacturing. The disclosure also discloses a backplane connector having the terminal module.

The first metal base is disposed on one side of the upper housing. The second metal base is disposed on one side of the lower housing. The circuit board with a hollow region is disposed on the second metal base. The silicon photonic chip is disposed on the second metal base exposed from the hollow region. The laser chip is disposed on the first metal base. The optical path assembly is disposed on the first metal base and/or on the second metal base exposed from the hollow region, and guides a third optical signal emitted by the laser chip to the silicon photonic chip.

The connector body comprises a plugging slot, a cover accommodating notch, and a plurality of signal terminal slots. The cover accommodating notch communicates with the plugging slot through the plurality of signal terminal slots. The cover accommodating notch comprises two opposite sidewalls. An abutting member is disposed on one side of the sidewall. A limiting block is disposed at one end of each of the sidewalls away from an end surface of the cover accommodating notch. The plurality of signal terminals are respectively disposed in the corresponding signal terminal slots. The cover is disposed in the cover accommodating notch and covers the plurality of the signal terminals.

The first protruding piece has a first width in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction. The second protruding piece has a second width along the third direction. The first width is the same as the second width. As a result, the connector is easy to manufacture, thereby reducing the cost of the connector.
