Abstract: A blank of sheet material for forming a container is provided. The blank includes a tray panel assembly, a cover panel assembly, a fold line connecting the tray panel assembly and the cover panel assembly, and an anti-buckling mechanism interrupting the fold line. The anti-buckling mechanism includes a series of cuts positioned at least partially below the fold line in the tray panel assembly. The series of cuts extends more than half a length of the fold line. Each cut of the series of cuts is substantially straight. The anti-buckling mechanism further includes an upper cut line defined in the cover panel assembly.

Abstract: Food container is provided having a first body portion and a second body portion. The first body portion and the second body portion are joined together to define an interior of the container and a mouth to the interior. The first body portion has a first flap moveable between an open position and a closed position, and the first flap includes a foldable support formed therein to hold a receptacle when in the open position. The second body portion has a second flap moveable between an open position and a closed position, and the second flap includes a tab to engage the first flap in the closed position to form a lid across the mouth of the interior. A blank for forming the food container from a sheet of blank material is also provided.

Abstract: A food scoop of a generally upwardly tapering truncated configuration having a lower portion of rectangular cross section and an upper portion of circular cross section with a bottom in edge contact with the peripheral wall of the scoop completely thereabout and with opposed combined glue and sealing flaps integral with the bottom and bonded to opposed sides of the scoop wall and with the upper portion of the scoop terminating in a foldable closure means.

Abstract: A hot cup lid providing alternating modes of access to the contents of a cup, the lid including an enlarged drinking opening selectively closed by a tear flap, and a smaller sipping opening diametrically aligned with the drinking opening and adjacent the periphery of the lid, the tear flap including a sealing lug thereon engageable within and closing the sipping opening upon pivotal movement of the flap to open the drinking opening.

Abstract: A clamshell container and sauce holder for receiving a sauce container is constructed from a one-piece carton blank cut and scored to facilitate erection into a clamshell container with top and bottom portions hingedly connected along a common fold line. A bottom portion of the container includes an upper flat section extending inwardly from a bottom side wall, an integral support and a base member including a tuck flap for positioning the upper flat section. In addition, an opening is defined in the upper flat section for holding a sauce container.

The closable or clam shell type structure includes an ergonomic toggle action tab having a circular or generally oval shape and a fold line which divides the tab into two tab sections. This ergonomic toggle action tab is movable from a normal position by inward digital pressure on the fold line. Further, radius score lines each have an arc shape which causes a depressed tab section to have a slightly concave surface. An offset fold line between the two tab sections is also disclosed.

Abstract: A collapsible, conical food scoop formed from a unitary blank of flexible material is disclosed which includes a first, food compartment and a second, condiment compartment. The condiment compartment is formed from a panel of material connected between first and second locations on the interior wall of the first compartment, and shifts between a first position overlaying the interior side wall of the food scoop when the scoop is collapsed and a second position spaced apart from the interior side wall for holding a condiment when the scoop is opened for use.

Abstract: A clamshell container having an improved hinge for reducing container rear wall buckling when the container is opened and closed is disclosed. The hinge includes first and second offset partial hinge portions, each extending inwardly from one side of the container for less than the full width of the container. The partial hinge portions include fold line portions near the container side walls and parallel slit portions in the central area of the rear wall. A blank for forming the subject container is also disclosed.

Abstract: An improved sleeve for insulating a user's hand from a hot beverage cup is disclosed that includes first and second wing portions extending outwardly from the container side wall and spaced apart therefrom by spacer elements to form air gaps between the wing portion and the cup.
