An ethylenic polymer comprising at least one preparative TREF fraction that elutes at 95° C. or greater using a Preparative Temperature Rising Elution Fractionation method, where at least one preparative TREF fraction that elutes at 95° C. or greater has a gpcBR value greater than 0.05 and less than 5 as determined by gpcBR Branching Index by 3D-GPC, and where at least 5% of the ethylenic polymer elutes at a temperature of 95° C. or greater based upon the total weight of the ethylenic polymer.

Abstract: A vibratory screener including a screen with an upper surface, a lower surface, and a plurality of apertures, an attachment post extending above the upper surface of the screen, and a cleaning system positioned above the upper surface of the screen. The cleaning system includes a support plate, a plurality of arms extending radially from the support plate, and at least one brush extending downwardly from each of the arms. Each brush is positioned so that the distal end of at least one of its multiple bristles contacts the upper surface of the screen. The screener further includes a collection area positioned below the lower surface of the screen and a vibration generator that vibrates the screen and the cleaning system and causes the arms to rotate relative to the upper surface of the screen.
Abstract: A polypropylene containing resin composition suitable for use in forming films by the air quenched melt-blown film process for use as a sealing layer in a laminate for retort pouches, The resin composition includes from 80 to 98 percent by weight of a coupled impact propylene copolymer and from 2 to 20 percent by weight of a propylene-ethylene copolymer having from 2 to 10 percent by weight units derived from ethylene, wherein the composition has a melt flow rate of from 0.1 to 2.5 grams/10 minutes.
Abstract: Copolymers of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide have an inner block that contains from 65-90 weight percent oxyethylene units and from 10 to 35 weight percent oxypropylene units. This block has a molecular weight of from 150 to 350. The copolymer has an outer block which contains at least 95 weight % oxypropylene units and from 0 to 5% oxyethylene units. The equivalent weight of the copolymer is from 800 to 2000. The copolymers are useful in making polyurethane foams that have unexpectedly high tensile and/or tear strengths.
