Abstract: Provided is a fishing reel equipped with a replaceable hood top. The fishing reel includes: a frame having a mount; two side covers coupled to both sides of the frame; a spool disposed inside the mount of the frame and coupled to the side covers through a shaft; a reel foot coupled to a bottom of the frame to be mounted on a fishing rod; a hood coupled to a top of the frame; a handle coupled to a side of the frame through a shaft to rotate the spool; and a tension nut disposed on a side of the frame to adjust a casting distance by controlling a rotational speed of a spool shaft. The hood has coupling portions, and a replaceable hood top is coupled to the coupling portions.

Abstract: Provided is a drag release system of a reel, that system adjusting drag by rotation of a spool on the reel, more particularly, a drag release system that immediately adjusts drag of a spool to prevent cutting of a fishing line by immediately decreasing the drag of the spool when strong tension is applied to the spool during fishing, by forming a fitting hole perpendicular to the axis of a cylindrical driving shaft and forming slits at a sleeve fitted on the driving shaft to have a predetermined length in the longitudinal direction of the driving shaft and to correspond to the fitting hole so that a fixing pin fitted in the fitting hole through the slits prevents the sleeve from idling on the driving shaft and guides the sleeve when the drag is adjusted.

Abstract: Provided is a fishing reel with a side cover safety lock and, more particularly, a fishing reel with a safety lock that automatically returns a lock lever such that a locking projection of the lock lever is locked into a locking groove of a frame in order to prevent a side cover from unlocking and separating by performing a safety lock mode by operating the lock lever for locking the side cover when the side cover is recombined after being separated.

Abstract: Provided is a bait casting reel including braking magnets that provide braking force against rotation of a spool using magnetic force to prevent backlash of the spool in casting. The bait casting reel allows a user to minimally space a spool and an anti-backlash unit to set the maximum braking force of a braking magnet by bringing the spool and the anti-backlasher in contact with each other when a braking dial for moving the anti-backlasher left and right in the longitudinal direction of the spool is turned to the maximum, in order to prevent the braking magnet from being worn or damaged by coming in contact with the spool due to deformation of the rotary shaft of the spool or a friction washer and to allow the user to freely and easily adjust the braking force of the braking magnet without replacing a part.

Abstract: Provided is a fishing reel equipped with an anti-loosening handle. The fishing reel includes an anti-loosening plug that is fitted on first flat portions of a handle shaft and has sub-male threaded portions corresponding to first male threaded portions in order to solve a problem that a handle nut is loosened or a handle shaft is broken when a load is applied to a handle arm in a process of winding a fishing line due to a gap between the handle nut and a flat portion of a handle shaft even though the handle nut is fixed in common handle shafts having an anti-idling flat portion at an end which is formed by U-cutting or side-cutting to couple the handle arm without idling.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a fishing reel having a hybrid clutch. The clutch controls rotation of a spool such that when casting a fishing line, the rotation of the spool is not restricted, and only when a handle is rotated to reel in the fishing line is the rotation of the spool restricted so that the spool can be rotated only in the direction in which the fishing line is reeled in. For this, the fishing reel includes: an integrated clutch unit including a clutch link coupled to the clutch bar, and a clutch cam connected to the clutch link and rotated around a shaft of the spool; and a ratchet pawl coupled to the clutch cam by a hinge and selectively coming into contact with a ratchet provided on a rotating shaft of the handle depending on rotation of the clutch cam, thus controlling the rotation of the spool.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a fishing reel having a centrifugal brake system. The fishing reel includes a frame, a shaft, a spool and a centrifugal brake system. The centrifugal brake system includes a support member, a plurality of brake shoes, a brake disc, a controller and a connection member. The support member is provided on one side of the spool and is rotated in conjunction with the spool. The brake shoes are radially coupled to the support member by respective shaft pins. Each brake shoe has a heavy weight part and a light weight part on opposite sides based on the shaft pin to have a weight eccentric structure. The controller adjusts a distance between the brake disc and the brake shoes, thus controlling braking power. The connection member is coupled to the support member and includes protruding stoppers which limits swing displacement angles of the respective brake shoes.

Abstract: A fishing reel having a drag assembly. The drag assembly brakes the unwinding rotation of a spool to prevent a fishing line from being excessively rapidly unwound from the spool and thus from being snapped when the fishing line is drawn out by a hooked fish. The drag assembly includes a washer retainer coupled to a drive gear, and a washer group having a brake washer. Therefore, there is no need for the drive gear to have a shape corresponding to the washer group, whereby the manufacturing process can be facilitated, the time it takes to manufacture the fishing reel can be reduced, and the production cost can also be reduced.

The fishhook can be stably hung on the hanging part of the fishhook hanger so that the fishhook can be prevented from damaging the fishing reel or injuring a user, and handling of the fishing rod with the fishing reel can be facilitated. Particularly, the fishhook hanger is configured such that it can be retractably extracted from the reel body. Therefore, the fishhook hanger can be retracted into the reel body as needed while the fishing rod is used. Furthermore, the fishhook hanger can be easily extracted from and retracted into the reel body in a simple manner.

The fishing reel is configured such that when the side cover opens, the side cover hangs from the reel body rather than being completely separated from the reel body, so that the user can easily open the side cover even when standing on uneven terrain such as on the rocks of a seashore. The fishing reel has a pillar structure which can conduct a first-extraction and second rotation operation such that even when the reel is designed in such a way that an end of the spool shaft necessarily protrudes out of the reel body, a rotating and opening operation of a cover assembly including the spool cover and the side cover is prevented from be impeded by the shaft, whereby even when in an extreme fishing environment, reliability in opening the side cover can be ensured.
