Abstract: The present invention provides a process to extract liquid dielectric coolant from the sesame oil, which is suitable for both power frequency and high frequency electrical applications. The process comprises the steps of, processing the refined, bleached and deodorised sesame seed oil with an alkali to remove the fatty acids. After processing the sesame seed oil, at step, the processed sesame seed oil is blended with a Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) solution. The blended sesame oil forms a top layer and a bottom layer within short duration of time. At step, the top layer is extracted and is water washed and filtered. At step, the top layer sesame seed oil is mixed the Tert Butyl Hydroxy Quinone solution. Finally, at step, the mixture of filtered top layer and Tert Butyl Hydroxy Quinone solution is heated to extract the liquid dielectric coolant.

  • Publication number: 20170123014
Abstract: Prior art electronic power supplies having distributed energy stores and/or the possibility to dynamically modify the connectivity of individual stores require complex monitoring of the input and output currents to and from the individual energy stores, often using a multitude of sensors, in order to allow for unrestricted operation. Examples of such power supplies include in particular modular multilevel converters and switched-capacitor circuits. The present invention describes a possibility to determine the states of charge and energy levels of the energy stores using a small number of measuring systems.

  • Patent number: 9638514
Abstract: An optical position-measuring device senses a relative position of two objects. A reflection material measure is connected to one object and a scanning unit is connected to the other object. A beam is split into three sub-beams in a first splitting plane by a first splitting element. The first and third sub-beams are deflected toward the reflection material measure by the deflecting elements, while the second sub-beam is split into fourth and fifth sub-beams by a second splitting element. The first and fourth sub-beams propagate as a first pair of superimposed sub-beams and the third and fifth sub-beams propagate as a second pair of superimposed sub-beams. The first and second pairs of superimposed sub-beams, after being reflected by the reflection material measure, propagate respectively toward detectors, where the sub-beams in each pair are brought into interfering superposition, so that the detectors detect displacement-dependent scanning signals.
