  • Patent number: 4089655
Abstract: An air purification system accepts foul air from a source of high pressure and treats the air so as to deliver an acceptable breathable air usable in any life support package. The components of the system are mounted on a portable cart. The foul air passes through a plurality of stages in going from the foul to the usable condition. The air is monitored at the various positions along the system to insure that the system is operational.

  • Patent number: 4036928
Abstract: A process for pelletizing sorptive mineral "fines" which includes adding sufficient moisture to the particles of sorptive material to occupy the pore space therein, compactly forming the moistened mineral in a pelletizing machine, then removing the pore moisture in a suitable dryer or kiln so that final pellets retain relatively the same absorbent capacity and bulk density as the original material.

  • Patent number: 3967339
Abstract: This invention relates to a roller for moving water on and simultaneously drying very large, flat hard surfaces such as tennis courts. The roller has an outer sleeve which is made from a foam whose compression load density and porosity values fall within critical ranges. The roller moves the water in the rolling direction as it simultaneously establishes a moving seal with the portion of the hard surface over which the roller rides.
