Abstract: A system and method for charging an electric vehicle includes a calibrated energy meter and a calibrated time meter, wherein the calibrated energy meter is characterized by a minimum charge current that is accurately measurable due to the calibration. The system and method is configured, when charging the electric vehicle with an actual charge current during a charging session, for initially metering the actual charge current with the calibrated energy meter as long as the actual charge current is in a range between the rated charge current and the minimum charge current or a value related to the minimum charge current and thereafter, when the metered charge current falls below the minimum charge current (Imin), for metering a charge time with the calibrated time meter until the charging session ends.

Abstract: A passenger seat row, for a vehicle such as a passenger aircraft, convertible between passenger seats and bunk beds. The passenger seat row includes a frame assembly including a backrest extending substantially a length of the frame assembly, the backrest configured to move between a stowed condition against the frame assembly and a deployed condition forming a substantially horizontal bed. Armrests attached to the frame assembly reposition to support the bed when in the deployed condition. In use, deploying the backrest forms a first bed positioned over the second bed to form a bunk bed sleeping provision for use, for example, during flight.

Abstract: A mask stowage container is provided having a door panel coupled to a box via a securement mechanism, the securement mechanism having a striker having a neck and a protrusion, the striker mounted to the door panel, a holder, the holder including a first retainer and a second retainer, the striker configured to be laterally retained between the first retainer and the second retainer.
Abstract: A stator structure is provided and includes a plurality of first lamination layers, a plurality of second lamination layers, two third lamination layers and two oil spraying rings. The second lamination layers are sandwiched in between the first lamination layers. The second lamination layer located in the middle of the stator structure is sandwiched in between the two third lamination layers. The two oil spraying rings are connected to two first lamination layers located at outermost sides. Another stator structure is provided and includes a plurality of first lamination layers, a second lamination layer and two oil spraying rings. The second lamination layer is sandwiched in between two first lamination layers. The two oil spraying rings are connected to two first lamination layers located at outermost sides. By means of the arrangement of the aforesaid stator structure, the invention can effectively improve heat dissipating effect for oil cooling.
Abstract: Waveforms for driving an electrophoretic display including a color filter between a viewer and the electrophoretic medium. Because the waveform results in each image update visiting the white state before the final state, the overall gamut is larger in aggregate and more predictable than simply driving the electrophoretic display including a color filter with the waveforms that are used for black and white grayscale displays.
Abstract: A wireless power transfer system includes a wireless power transfer device. The wireless power transfer device includes a first transmitting coil oriented along a first axis; a second transmitting coil on the first transmitting coil and oriented along a second axis different from the first axis; and a nonmagnetic material magnetically decoupling the first transmitting coil from the second transmitting coil in an area of overlap between the first and second transmitting coils.

Abstract: A display and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The display includes a plurality of pixel circuits. Each of the pixel circuits includes a display unit, a first scanning transistor, an equivalent boosting capacitor, a second scanning transistor, a third scanning transistor, and a storage capacitor. The display unit receives a first reference constant voltage and is coupled to a first node. The first scanning transistor is coupled to the first node and receives a first scanning signal. The equivalent boosting capacitor is coupled between the first node and a second node. The second scanning transistor is coupled to the second node and receives a second scanning signal. The third scanning transistor is coupled to the second node and receives the first scanning signal. The capacitor is coupled between a first terminal and a second terminal of the third scanning transistor.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a motor assembly comprising: a housing; a motor that is received at one side inside the housing in the axial direction; a gear train that is provided at the other side inside the housing in the axial direction; oil that is received inside the housing to be in contact with the gear train; and an oil storage unit that temporarily receives the oil moving upward when the gear train rotates, wherein the oil storage unit includes an oil outlet formed to discharge the oil received therein in a preset amount. Accordingly, the rotational resistance can be suppressed from increasing due to the oil received therein, and the oil can be continuously supplied (scattered) upward in a preset amount, and thus, continuous cooling can be achieved.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a prefabricated bracket assembly integrated into a prefabricated column assembly for connecting PC beams, the end portions of PC beams being placed inside the prefabricated bracket assembly that is assembled on top of the prefabricated column assembly, into which concrete is poured so as to connect the PC beams and the prefabricated bracket assembly, thereby facilitating the connection of the PC beams to a factory-made prefabricated column assembly and allowing cost reduction.
