Abstract: An ophthalmological measuring device including an ocular measuring unit including a front face provided with a frame encircling a translucent plate the size and curvature of which are suitable for covering the ocular field of said patient, a device for providing uniform backlighting of the translucent plate, located behind the translucent plate, at least one camera equipped with an objective placed in line with a hole in the translucent plate, one or more point light sources in apertures on the edges of the translucent plate, for illuminating the eyes of the patient, and means for fastening one or more additional ophthalmological measuring devices to the translucent plate.

Abstract: An inflatable compression brace with hot and cold compresses has a brace body, an air bag, and an inflate-and-deflate valve. The brace body wraps around joints and muscles. The air bag is formed within the brace body. The inflate-and-deflate valve is mounted on the brace body and connected to the air bag. The inflate-and-deflate valve can optionally inflate or deflate the air bag. Thereby the inflated air bag can compress and immobilize the targeted area. Additionally, when inappropriate pressure is applied to the target area, the inflate-and-deflate valve is capable of adjusting the air pressure.
Abstract: A frothing module for a hot beverage maker including: a reservoir with a bottom portion for storing a liquid and a frother. The frother has a suction tube arranged within the reservoir, extending from a top portion into the bottom portion of the reservoir to draw liquid from the bottom portion. The frother also has a steam inlet to connect to and receive steam from the hot beverage maker, an aerator to receive liquid from the suction tube and steam from the steam inlet to make a froth; and an outlet to discharge the froth. The reservoir includes at least one aperture to receive steam for cleaning external surfaces of the suction tube.
Abstract: A system for localizing and object is disclosed herein. The system includes a radio transmitter disposed in a first location, a radio receiver disposed in a second location, a processor operatively coupled to the radio transmitter and to the radio receiver, and a memory operatively coupled to the processor. The memory includes instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to send a first command to the radio transmitter to transmit a continuous radio wave, send a second command to the radio receiver to receive a reflected radio wave, receive from the radio receiver a signal indicating the reflected radio wave is within a spatial region of interest, and determining a three-dimensional location of the object within the spatial region of interest based on the reflected radio wave.
