Abstract: The invention relates to a method of treating substances in divided solid form for thermal debacterization, in which the substances are stirred in a closed enclosure provided internally with controlled heating contact wall means acting directly on the substances while they are being stirred. In accordance with the invention, the substances for treatment are previously mixed, prior to reaching an inlet to the closed enclosure, with an anti-clumping agent likewise in the form of divided solids, the mixture then being stirred in the closed enclosure while being subjected to the combined action of the heating contact walls and of the superheated wet steam, and being recovered at an outlet of the closed enclosure.

Abstract: The present patent discloses a kind of laminated composite material, wherein it comprises at least a layer of elastomer and a layer of textile of aromatic polyamide fiber, and the surface of said textile of aromatic polyamide fiber is processed by silane. It also discloses the preparation method of said laminated composite material as well as its application in making the windshield connecting rail cars as well as the application in making rubber pipeline.
Abstract: Protective laminates are provided that include (a) a layer that is breathable and highly impermeable to chemicals to a degree that is subject to reduction upon flexing of the highly impermeable layer alone; and (b) a breathable non-textile layer attached to the highly impermeable layer, the non-textile layer mitigating the reduction in the impermeability of the highly impermeable layer if the laminate is flexed. The laminates may, for example, be attached to textiles and used in protective fabrics.

Abstract: A process for the production of a dark-color multi-layer coating, comprising the successive steps: (1) applying an NIR-opaque coating layer A? from a waterborne pigmented coating composition A to a substrate, (2) applying a coating layer B? from a waterborne pigmented coating composition B onto the substrate provided with coating layer A?, (3) subjecting the coated substrate obtained in step (2) to a drying step, (4) applying a clear coat layer, and (5) curing the coating layers simultaneously; wherein both coating compositions A and B comprise aqueous microgel and sheet silicate, wherein the pigment content of coating composition A comprises <90 wt. % of aluminum flake pigments and has such a composition that coating layer A? exhibits low NIR absorption, wherein the pigment content of coating composition B consists 50 to 100 wt. % of black pigment with low NIR absorption and 0 to 50 wt. % of further pigment.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a process and a system for decomposing one or more volatile organic compounds (VOC) from a composition. This invention is particularly directed to a process and a system for decomposing one or more volatile organic compounds (VOC) from a coating composition. This invention is directed for reducing overall VOC emission from a composition, particularly from a coating composition.
Abstract: An improved electroblowing process is provided for forming a fibrous web of nanofibers wherein polymer stream is issued from a spinning nozzle in a spinneret with the aid of a forwarding gas stream, passes an electrode and a resulting nanofiber web is collected on a collector. The process includes applying a high voltage to the electrode and grounding the spinneret such that an electric field is generated between the spinneret and the electrode of sufficient strength to impart an electrical charge on the polymer as it issues from the spinning nozzle.
