Abstract: A receiving plate supporting device includes a base, two supporting portions, a movable plate and two sliding portions. The base has a pair of blocks which are spaced and installed at a wall. Each supporting portion is installed at each block having an upper slide path, a lower slide path and an outside slide path. The movable plate is a rectangular plate with a width corresponding to a distance between the two blocks. Each sliding portion is respectively corresponding to each supporting portion and is installed at the lateral side of the movable plate. Each sliding portion respectively passes through each supporting portion. The movable plate can be placed horizontally or vertically as desired. Therefore, it is space-efficient and convenient. Furthermore, the receiving plate supporting device can be assembled easily, and the structure of each component is easy and is cost-effective.

Abstract: The device comprises a bag associated to which are actuator means which can be selectively activated so as to enable expansion of the bag, with consequent filling of the bag itself by a mass of blood which flows towards the bag, and to produce contraction of the bag with consequent expulsion from the bag itself of the mass of blood that has flowed into the bag. Associated to the bag is a containment casing to which a duct is connected for enabling inflow and outflow of aeriform with respect to the casing as a result of the movement of expansion and contraction of the bag. A pressure limiter is provided for determining selectively and maintaining in a precise way the value of pressure of said aeriform which determines outflow—and possibly inflow—of the aeriform with respect to the aforesaid casing.

Abstract: A Spring fastener with critical configuration of the barbs, which allow the extraction of the fastener without destruction of the slot and/or the fastener. This critical configuration of the barbs allows spring fasteners to be used in slots of various widths and prevents rattling, which would take place in the case of spring fasteners of the present state of the art. The critical configuration is based on the special dimensions and special shape of the barbs with regard to the parts and the slots involved in assemblies of the spring fasteners and the parts. Assemblies of miscellaneous parts connected together by means of such spring fasteners, as well as vehicles comprising such assemblies may be made.

Abstract: A method of renovating an existing pipeline comprises spray-coating the interior of the pipeline using a two part coating system of which the two parts are mixed at the time of application. One part of the system comprises a polyisocyanate whilst the second part comprises one or more oligomeric polyamines, optionally further blended with a secondary aliphatic polyamine, or the second part comprises one or more aromatic polyamines blended with one or more polyols. The mixture forms a coating on the interior surface of the pipeline and forms, at a high cure rate, a monolithic flexible lining which exhibits high strength and a high level of adhesion to the pipe wall.

Abstract: This invention relates to a ceramic wound treatment device and to a method of treating a wound using such device. The treatment device comprises a plurality of separate inert porous ceramic particles which are contained in a permeable tea-bag type container. The particles have a porosity of between 25% and 85%, preferably 75% and the pores have diamters in the range of between 0.4 to 30 micrometers. The pores are cellular in nature and are interconnected by blow-holes. The particles are manufactured by pulverising an inert microporous ceramic body and removing fine powder from the particles, such that the particles have a diameter range of between 45 and 300 micrometers.
Abstract: Excellent tracking index as well as flame-resistant properties are achieved with other desirable characteristics of LCPs in a resin composition consisting essentially of: a) a wholly aromatic polyester which is melt processible and which displays anisotropy in the molten state; b) a non-conductive filler material having a diameter of less than about 3 m, with said non-conductive filler material being present in an amount sufficient to increase the comparative tracking index (CTI) rating of said composition to above 220 volts and render the composition non-burning. Optionally, an extraordinarily small amount of non-volatile fluorescent brightener can be added to the resin composition. In combination with the non-conductive filler, the fluorescent brightener is found to surprisingly and significantly improves the flame-retardant property of the resin. Such compositions are advantageously employed in electrical and electronic apparatuses.
Abstract: The rate of aminolysis of butyrolactones is predictably adjusted by attaching a substituent having a known field effect value (F) to the alpha position before reacting the substituted buytrolactone with an amine.
