Abstract: A hanger having an integrally molded plastic hanger body of inverted U-shaped construction defines a pair of horizontally spaced walls adapted to cooperatively define a support for the suspending means of another hanger. Each of the walls defines a tab pivotally connected adjacent the wall bottom for movement between an initial spaced-apart orientation of the tabs and an engaged orientation of the tabs wherein said tabs engage one another to cooperatively define the support.
Abstract: A receiving plate supporting device includes a base, two supporting portions, a movable plate and two sliding portions. The base has a pair of blocks which are spaced and installed at a wall. Each supporting portion is installed at each block having an upper slide path, a lower slide path and an outside slide path. The movable plate is a rectangular plate with a width corresponding to a distance between the two blocks. Each sliding portion is respectively corresponding to each supporting portion and is installed at the lateral side of the movable plate. Each sliding portion respectively passes through each supporting portion. The movable plate can be placed horizontally or vertically as desired. Therefore, it is space-efficient and convenient. Furthermore, the receiving plate supporting device can be assembled easily, and structure of each component is easy and is cost-effective.

Abstract: The method of this invention for raising the stick temperature of pellets of ethylene-based copolymers with an acid content at least 5 weight percent has the steps of contacting the pellets with an aqueous solution of a water-soluble metal salt of an aliphatic acid having fewer than 12 carbon atoms, and drying the pellets. The resulting ethylene-based copolymers have a stick temperature of above 25° C. and preferably at least 5° C. above that of the untreated pellets.
Abstract: This invention relates to an isolated nucleic acid fragment encoding a sucrose phosphate synthase. The invention also relates to the construction of a chimeric gene encoding all or a portion of the sucrose phosphate synthase, in sense or antisense orientation, wherein expression of the chimeric gene results in production of altered levels of the sucrose phosphate synthase in a transformed host cell.

Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to a polyaniline/high molecular weight polymeric sulfonic acid complex made by oxidative polymerization, and aqueous polyaniline dispersions, where the viscosity of the dispersion has been increased by the presence of the high molecular weight polymeric sulfonic acids during the polymerization process.
Abstract: A flame-retardant polymer composition includes: (a) a crystalline propylene homopolymer or copolymer; (b) a copolymer of ethylene with at least one alpha-olefin having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms, and optionally with a diene; and (c) a flame-retardant inorganic filler. Copolymer (b) has a density of between 0.90 and 0.86 g/cm3 and a Composition Distribution Index, defined as the weight percentage of copolymer molecules having an alpha-olefin content within 50% of the average total molar content of alpha-olefin, of greater than 45%.

Abstract: Disclosed is a single step continuous hydrogenation process for the preparation of 3-methyl-tetrahydrofuran from alpha-methylene-gamma-butyrolactone, in the presence of a catalytic metal.
Abstract: An ion-beam film deposition process is described for fabricating binary photomask blanks for selected lithographic wavelengths <400 nm, the said film essentially consisting of the MOxCyNz compound where M is selected from chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, or tantalum or combination thereof in a single layer or a multiple layer configuration.
Abstract: An ionomer/polyamide blend with improved flow (e.g., lower viscosity) can be achieved while simultaneously maintaining or improving physical properties such as low temperature Izod impact resistance by the addition of low molecular weight ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer (e.g., so-called acid wax polymer derived from copolymerizing at least 5 weight percent and preferably greater than 9 weight percent acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid with ethylene and having a melt index, ASTM D1238, preferably greater than 900 dg/min and most preferably greater than 5,000 dg/min). Optionally, the blends can further contain additives such as very low density polyethylene (VLDPE), ethylene propylene elastomer (EPR), ethylene propylene diene monomer elastomer (EPDM), corresponding maleic anhydride grafted elastomers (MAN-g-VLDPE; MAN-g-EPR; and MAN-g-EPDM), or mixtures thereof.
Abstract: A shunting socket for telephones is composed of a body and two receptacles respectively installed at two sides of the body. The receptacles are rotatable about the body to locate their notches at the top side, so that mounting cords connected in the notches will not trip someone passing by the shunting socket.
Abstract: Methods are provided for coating substrates. The mixture includes a universal resin, a curing agent, a flow modifier, a colorant, and a thermochromatic compound, a phosphorescent compound, or a luminescent compound. The mixture is coated onto a substrate. Coating can be achieved by mixing the mixture with a liquid form of the substrate, spraying the mixture onto the substrate, brushing the mixture onto the substrate, or submersing the substrate into the mixture.
Abstract: Methods are provided for coating glass waste. A mixture including a universal resin, a curing agent, a flow modifier, and a colorant is applied to the glass waste. The glass waste is then cured. In some embodiments, the mixture is sprayed onto the glass waste. In an alternative embodiment, the mixture is mixed with the glass waste.
Abstract: A system for centrally controlling and messenging electrically active displays distributed at a single site or at multiple sites. A process for creating an electronically addressable display includes multiple printing operations, similar to a multi-color process in conventional screen printing. In some of the process steps, electrically non-active inks are printed onto areas of the receiving substrate, and in other steps, electrically active inks are printed onto different areas of the substrate. The printed display can be used in a variety of applications. This display can be used as an indicator by changing state of the display after a certain time has elapsed, or when a certain pressure, thermal, radiative, moisture, acoustic, inclination, pH, or other threshold is passed. In one embodiment, the display is incorporated into a battery indicator. A sticker display is described. The sticker is adhesive backed and may then be applied to a surface to create a functional information display unit.

Abstract: One describes a package, particularly for packing industrial products, comprising a product-holding body provided with a through-bore, a grip region associated to the body and a flow controlling and interrupting valve associated to the through-bore, the valve comprising an elongate and through-bored body of flexible material, the body being fixed by means of at least its first end portion to the through-bore, the second end portion of the body, opposed to the first portion, extending outwardly of the thorough-bore and being foldable over the elongate body into the bore, so as to enable one to close the valve. The present package permits partial consumption of the product and the correct application, through the valve, thus enabling one to use the product partly and rationally, without wasting it. It also avoids leakage of the packed product, which is of great importance when toxic and polluting products are packed.
