The operating unit (11) has a rotary toggle (12), which is magnetically mounted on a glass ceramic hob (25). A bearing device (13) below the glass ceramic hob has guide magnets (15), which form a magnetically acting guide link, which permits both a rotary movement (R) and a linear movement (L) of the rotary toggle (12). The rotary toggle (12) has signalling magnets (19) along its outer circumference and with them are associated beneath the hob (25) Hall sensors (21). Further Hall sensors (22) are positioned between the guide magnets (15). A random movement (R, L) of the rotary toggle (12) can be detected with the Hall sensors (21, 22). • Patent number: 6623523
Abstract: A symmetrical, heart-shaped breast prosthesis has two identical notches which are arranged symmetrically with respect to a plane of symmetry dividing the prosthesis body into two equal halves and at an angle in the range between 30° and 90° between them, in such a way that, when the prosthesis is worn, only one of the two notches is essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wearer's body. The notches have the effect that the prosthesis collapses slightly when the wearer is in the upright position and becomes flatter when the wearer is in the prostrate position. In the state when worn, the heart-shaped prosthesis which is symmetrical in the unshaped state becomes an asymmetrical prosthesis having a lateral branch and an upper branch which moves downwards when the wearer is in the upright position and slips upwards when the wearer is prostrate.

  • Patent number: 6622897
Abstract: A hanger has a pinch-grip including a pair of vertically-extending components, a biasing spring, and a connector separate and distinct from the biasing spring. The connector pivotably secures together the upper ends of the components for movement, prior to application of the biasing spring to the components, between a substantially unfolded orientation, wherein the components lie in a common plane, and a substantially folded orientation, wherein the components are generally parallel. The connector is integrally molded with the components and configured and dimensioned to lie between the upper ends thereof when the components are in the folded orientation, without substantially inhibiting movement of the upper or lower ends between the closed and open positions.

  • Patent number: 6621276
Abstract: A cable termination assembly for testing the quality of insulation surrounding a power cable has one termination design to fit a large range of cable constructions, does not require different insulation shield cut-back distances, provides a secure electrical connection, and is environmentally friendly. A cable grip assembly is attached to an exposed conductor. The bottom outer surface of an inner cup is attached to the inner bottom surface of an outer cup wherein the inner cup is fully contained in the outer cup. When the two cups are attached, the cable grip assembly is mateably connected into the top of the inner cup and the outer cup is filled with a high dielectric strength liquid covering the inner cup and the cable grip assembly. After the high dielectric strength liquid has been added, a voltage is applied and the partial voltage discharge of the power cable is measured.
