The disclosure pertains to non-aqueous and non-volatile compositions that include a monolignol alcohol and hydrogen sulfide scavenging compound. Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and compositions for reducing fouling by natural and synthetic foulants that tend to precipitate during petroleum collecting, processing, transporting, and storing. The method includes applying one or more antifouling polymers to a petroleum product to form a treated petroleum product, wherein fouling by the treated petroleum product is reduced and a stable dispersion is formed over a wide range of processing conditions. The one or more antifouling polymers include the polymerized residues of one or more ?-olefins and maleic anhydride, further wherein the maleic anhydride residues are reacted with a primary amine. Concentrates of the antifouling polymers in solvents are stable and pourable at temperatures of 0° C. to ?40° C.

Abstract: Polymerization inhibitor compositions are provided. The polymerization inhibitor compositions may include at least one hydroxylamine of a nitroxide and at least one phenylenediamine. Abstract: A process for flocculating filler particles in water is provided. The process comprises adding a flocculant to a mixture comprising filler particles and water, wherein the flocculant has a reduced specific viscosity (“RSV”) of from about 5 dL/g to about 16 dL/g, a viscosity average molecular weight of from about 1,200,000 to about 7,500,000, and a cationic charge of from about 5 mol % to about 50 mol %. Flocs formed by flocculation of the filler particles and the flocculant have a median particle size of from about 10 ?m to about 150 ?m. The filler is not precipitated calcium carbonate alone. The flocs provided by the process are useful in increasing ash content of a paper product.
