Abstract: Device for measurement of fluid pressure by means of an arrangement of strain gauges provided on a sensor head arranged on an item arranged to be exposed to a pressurized fluid against an external sensor head surface, where the sensor head comprises a fastening portion attached to the item, and a center portion connected to the fastening portion by means of at least one flexible connecting element, the arrangement of strain gauges is attached to the center portion of the sensor head on an internal assembly surface arranged in close proximity to a contact face on an end stopper which in an active condition encircles the arrangement of strain gauges, and the assembly surface is inexposable for the pressurized fluid.
Abstract: An electromechanical actuator device (17) and method for use under water in petroleum activity, in which, via a transmission element (30, 34, 36), an electric motor (18), including a stator (20) and a rotor (22), is arranged to move an actuation element (36) between at least a first position and a second position, and in which the rotor (22) of the electric motor (18) surrounds and is connected to an actuator nut (30) which is in threaded engagement with the actuation element (36).
Abstract: A device for a valve actuator is described, the valve actuator being provided with a spindle nut surrounding a portion of an actuator spindle and engaging an external threaded portion arranged on the actuator spindle, the spindle nut being axially fixed relative to the actuator spindle, and the actuator spindle being in rotation-preventing engagement with an end cap or an actuator housing, and the spindle nut being connected via transmission means to a first driving motor.
Abstract: Power actuator (2) device and method for submerged use at petroleum exploitation, where an electric motor (50) drives a displaceable actuating element (16) via a transmission element (80), and where the power actuator (2) comprises at least two parallel and cooperative screw-nut-connections (20) connected to the actuating element (16), and where the transmission elements (80) comprise a driving wheel (40) which synchronically drives a screw (22) or a nut (18) in each of the at least two screw-nut-connections (20).
Abstract: A cylindrical, hollow stuffing box arranged to be able to take up geometrical differences between drill pipes and tool joints includes an outer housing, an upper and a lower set of support plates and also a sleeve-shaped, flexible sealing element arranged rotationally between said support plates and enclosed by a liquid filled, a pressurized annulus which in a fluid sealing manner is defined by a central part of the stuffing box housing, the outside of the sealing element and said support plates; each of the upper and lower support plate sets comprise two halves connected to an actuator each arranged for radial displacement of the halves; each of the support plate halves comprise a cut-out arranged to be able to encircle a peripheral portion of the drill string; and the inside and the ends of the sealing element comprise cast-in, ceramic elements.
