Patent number: 9941067Abstract: A key module has a housing and a tappet arranged in the housing. The tappet is movable in a linear manner between an upper stop position and a lower stop position in a manner limited by an upper stop and a lower stop, wherein an elastic element arranged in the housing pushes the tappet into the upper stop position, and wherein an actuating force exerted by a user pushes the tappet into the lower stop position and in the process reversibly compresses the elastic element. To reduce impact noises, the lower stop is formed by a first damping element and the upper stop is formed by a second damping element. The slip-on element has a carrier element to which a first damping element for reducing impact noises at the lower stop and a second damping element for reducing impact noises at the upper stop are attached.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 2014Date of Patent: April 10, 2018Assignee: GMK Electronic Design GMBHInventors: Manfred Guentner, Wolfgang Kredler, Sebastian Geilersdoerfer

Patent number: 9190960Abstract: Improvements to U.S. Pat. No. 5,428,642 including use of a single clock providing a first frequency to drive a power supply and a second frequency, twice the first frequency, to dual channel pulse width modulators and audio amplifiers. The power supply is improved to provide enough output voltage that the amplifier stays below 90% modulation and the first frequency driver eliminates the dead band, thereby improving efficiency. Current limiting, even against shorts in the load, is provided by inductor inputs to the clipper circuits, where the inductors are in the magnetic fields of the output chokes. The audio amplifiers are isolated by optical couplers for the audio signal and by an optical coupler and isolation transformers for the clock. One clock amplifier supplies both amplifier channels. The pulse width modulator uses the optically isolated clock and receives clipped audio directly. Two channels fit in the space of one old channel.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2014Date of Patent: November 17, 2015Assignee: Innovative Electronic Designs, LLCInventors: Hardison G. Martin, Robert A. Patent number: 8766579Abstract: The invention relates to methods and devices for monitoring and correcting a sensorless rotor position detection in permanently excited motors, comprising a control device and a current converter. The invention is especially characterised in that the ambiguity of the rotor position determined from the inductance ratios of the motor, in permanently excited motors, can be resolved in a simple manner without a sensor, and a defectively determined angle can be corrected as required. To this end, during the operation of the motor, the rotor position is detected by means of an inductance-based detection device. Furthermore, the rotor position is monitored in relation to the ambiguity of the inductance-based signals by means of a monitoring/correcting device, and where necessary, an occurring angle error corrected, the currents in the motor being modified.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2010Date of Patent: July 1, 2014Assignee: Gärtner-Electronic-Design GmbHInventors: Alexander Scheit, Horst-Günter Seelig
