Abstract: A laundry treatment apparatus includes a cabinet having first and second washing apparatuses that treat laundry introduced through a front opening and through a top opening, respectively. The second washing apparatus includes: a tub that holds water and has an opening at a top that is accessible through the second opening; a drum inside the tub that rotates about a vertical shaft; an agitation unit protruding upward from a center bottom surface of the drum that agitates water and laundry inside the rotating drum; a heater that heats water in the tub; a water supply valve controlling a flow of water into the tub; and at least one processor that controls the heater to heat a first amount of water in the tub to a first temperature; and controls the water supply valve to additionally supply, to the first amount of water, incremental amounts of water to into the tub.
Abstract: A three dimensional printing apparatus and a controlling method thereof are provided. A first forming material and a second forming material are adapted for being fed into a melting nozzle. A controller determines a first pulling-back amount according to a first feeding-in ratio of the first forming material and determines a second pulling-back amount according to a second feeding-in ratio of the second forming material. During a period in which a printing module stops extruding any material, the controller controls a feeding module to pull back the first forming material along a direction which is departing from a melting nozzle and controls the feeding module to pull back the second forming material along the direction which is departing from the melting nozzle.

Abstract: A video decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus comprises: deriving control points (CPs) for the current block; obtaining motion vectors for the CPs; deriving a motion vector of a sub-block or a sample unit in the current block on the basis of the obtained motion vectors; deriving a prediction sample for the current block on the basis of the derived motion vector; and generating a reconstruction sample on the basis of the prediction sample. The method enables effective performance of inter prediction through the motion vectors (transformation prediction), not only when an image in the current block is moved in a plane, but also when the image in the current block is rotated, zoomed in, zoomed out, or transformed into a parallelogram. Accordingly, the amount of data for the residual signal for the current block can be eliminated or reduced, and the overall coding efficiency can be improved.
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include systems and methods to service an electronic device. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a request to service an electronic device communicatively connected to a test station. The method also includes obtaining a device model and an image group of the electronic device and determining criteria to service the electronic device in accordance with a desired setup, where each image group is associated with one or more different device models. The method further includes transmitting a request to service the electronic device to a management system having an image of applications compatible with the image group of the electronic device. The method further includes receiving at least one of a virtual hard drive storing a copy of the image of the applications and an indication of a location of the virtual hard drive. The method further includes executing the applications to service the electronic device.
