Abstract: A vehicular camera includes a lens barrel accommodating a lens, a lens holder having a passageway therethrough, and an imager printed circuit board (imager PCB) having an imager. The imager PCB is attached at the lens holder. An attaching portion of the lens barrel is positioned at least partially in the passageway of the lens holder with a gap between the attaching portion and the lens holder that at least partially circumscribes the attaching portion. With the attaching portion positioned at least partially in the passageway, a filler material is disposed at least partially within the gap. With the lens aligned relative to the imager, the filler material is heated via non-contact brazing to melt and flow into the gap. The melted filler material hardens upon cooling to secure the lens barrel relative to the lens holder and the imager PCB.
Abstract: A hairpin stator includes an iron core, a plurality of slot-positions and a plurality of hairpin wires. The slot-positions are located in the circumferential direction of the iron core, and form a plurality of adjacent slot-position layers in the radial direction. The iron core includes polar regions, each polar region includes phases, and each phase includes phase slots. The hairpin wires are arranged in the slot-positions of the phase slots of the same phases of the polar regions, and the hairpin wires are connected to form windings. The hairpin wires include transpolar hairpin wires. A span of the transpolar hairpin wires on an insertion side of the iron core is equal to a quotient, which is obtained by dividing a total number of the phase slots by a total number of the polar regions, plus 1 or minus 1.
Abstract: A browser device communicates via Wi-Fi with a central function device. The function device has information regarding all the various remote controls needed by the consumer. The function device communicates wirelessly with the browser device and in turn then operates all of the consumer's electronic devices.

Abstract: According to embodiments described herein, sub-pictures and/or virtual boundaries can be used for coding an image. For example, sub-pictures in the current picture can be used for predicting, reconstructing, and/or filtering the current picture. Virtual boundaries can be used for filtering reconstructed samples of the current picture. Through image coding based on the subpictures and/or virtual boundaries according to embodiments described herein, the subjective/objective quality of an image can be improved, and the consumption of hardware resources necessary for the coding can be reduced.

Abstract: A magnetic torque sensing device having a torque transferring member with a magnetoelastically active region. The magnetoelastically active region has oppositely polarized magnetically conditioned regions with initial directions of magnetization that are perpendicular to the sensitive directions of magnetic field sensor pairs placed proximate to the magnetically active region. Magnetic field sensors are specially positioned in relation to the torque-transferring member to accurately measure torque while providing improved RSU performance and reducing the detrimental effects of compassing. The torque sensing devices are incorporated on vehicle drive train components, including differential components, transfer case components, transmission components, and others, including on power transmission shafts, half-shafts, and wheels, and output signals representing characteristics of the vehicle are processed in algorithms to provide useful output information for controlling actions of the vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed is a robot cleaner including: a main body forming an outer shape; a pair of rotary mops moving the main body while rotating in contact with a floor; a drive motor rotating the pair of rotary mops; a pump connected to a water tank and driving a nozzle for spraying water to the rotary mop; and a controller for determining water content of the rotary mop in a preliminary step before wet cleaning, and controlling to start the wet cleaning after driving the pump until the water content of the rotary mop satisfy a certain level. Accordingly, it is possible to detect a change in the output current of the motor of the rotary mop of the robot cleaner and determine the water content according to the change in the current value.
