Abstract: A method for transmitting a band bitmap in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes selecting at least one selection band from a plurality of bands, the plurality of bands being distributed throughout a whole frequency band, grouping the plurality of bands into a plurality of band groups, setting a primary bitmap for each band group according to whether the selection band is included in each band group and setting a secondary bitmap for bands in each band group, and transmitting the primary bitmap and the secondary bitmap. Radio resources used to transmit a band bitmap can be reduced by decreasing the number of bits of the band bitmap.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a receiving apparatus, a receiving method, and a program which are configured to provide application programs to be executed in response to AV content. The receiving apparatus includes: a receiving block; a trigger acquisition block; an application acquisition block; and a control block. The control block acquires trigger information and, on the basis of a command obtained from the acquired trigger information, acquires a data broadcast application from an application server on the Internet or a data broadcast application transmitted as NRT content of an NRT service using a FLUTE session by referencing an FDT identified by an SMT and an NRT-IT. In accordance with a command obtained from the acquired trigger information, the control block controls an operation of the acquired application program. The present technology is applicable to television receivers configured to receive digital television broadcast signals.

Abstract: An apparatus, method and data structure for generating at least one table in a broadcast environment, are provided. The apparatus includes a generator to generate an event information table (EIT) and an extended text table (ETT). The ETT has program guide information for an n-hour span and has a transmission interval. The ETT has a transmission interval and program description information according to the EIT. The transmission interval of the EIT is shorter than the transmission interval of the ETT.

Abstract: A system and method for auditing memory cards. A memory card is received in a card reader in communication with a computing device. The memory card is scanned utilizing a computing device. A determination is made whether content in the memory card is acceptable or unacceptable. A first volume name of the memory card is rewritten to the second volume name in response to determining the content in the memory card is acceptable.

Abstract: Improved inductive electronic apparatus and methods for manufacturing the same. In one exemplary embodiment, the apparatus comprises an inductive device module comprising N inductors and N+1 core elements. The core elements comprise ferrite core pieces that are optionally identical to one another. These core elements are stacked (e.g., in a longitudinal coaxial arrangement) such that the back of one core element associated with a first inductor provides a magnetic flux path for a second inductor. Form-less (bonded) windings are also optionally used to simplify the manufacture of the device, reduce its cost, and allow it to be made more compact (or alternatively additional functionality to be disposed therein). One variant utilizes a termination header for mating to a PCB or other assembly, while another totally avoids the use of the header by directly mating to the PCB.

Abstract: A fast uplink data transmission method for a handover is disclosed. This method effectively uses a handover signal when there is data to be transmitted to an uplink during an Intra Radio Access Technology (I-RAT) handover, such that it quickly transmits and receives uplink data. The method of transmitting uplink data in a wireless access system includes, transmitting a message including an information bit to a target base station by a mobile station during a handover, wherein the information bit indicates whether the uplink data is present, and receiving a radio resource for transmitting the uplink data from the target base station, if the information bit indicates the uplink data is present, wherein the radio resource is allocated by the target base station. So, uplink user data can be quickly transmitted to a destination while the UE performs the handover.

Abstract: A method of recording using a timer recording function in a display device is disclosed. More specifically, the display device receives an input data which is a user inputted instruction information for executing a timer recording function. Then, the device determines whether at least two display recording devices are connected to the display device and selects the display recording device for recording the broadcast program.
