Patent number: 9174183Abstract: The invention provides a fluidized bed polymerization reactor, including: a column, in which a liquid distributor and a gas distributor above the liquid distributor are arranged, so that the reaction zone being divided into a first zone and a second zone through the gas distributor; and a circulating unit for circulating the gas material originated from the top zone of the column into the bottom zone thereof in a form of gas-liquid mixture. The gas-liquid mixture is undergone a gas-liquid separation in the bottom zone, the gas phase portion obtained being fed to the gas distributor and then into the second zone while the liquid phase portion obtained being entered into the first zone through the liquid distributor, so that the temperature in the first zone is lower than that in the second zone. Therefore, polymer with a molecular weight distributed in a relatively wide range can be obtained. The invention further provides a method for preparing polymer.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2011Date of Patent: November 3, 2015Assignees: China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Zhejiang University, Sinopec Engineering IncorporationInventors: Wenqing Wu, Yongrong Yang, Guanghai Luo, Jingdai Wang, Binbo Jiang, Shufang Wang, Guodong Han

Patent number: 8900522Abstract: The invention relates to an ethylene cracking furnace having a multi-pass radiant coil, comprising at least one radiant section. In the radiant section there are provided with bottom burners and/or sidewall burners, and at least one set of multi-pass radiant coil longitudinally arranged in the radiant section. The multi-pass radiant coil is a four- to ten-pass type radiant coil. At least one tube of the multi-pass radiant coil is arranged to be spatially adjacent to a tube which is not consecutive to said at least one tube. With this arrangement, the thermal radiation influence between tubes with high temperature can be reduced, so that the tubes with low temperature can absorb the radiation heat from the tubes with high temperature. Therefore, the surface temperature of the tubes with high temperature can be reduced, thus extending the lifetime of the radiant coil and the operational cycle of the cracking furnace.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2010Date of Patent: December 2, 2014Assignees: China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, SINOPEC Engineering Incorporation, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Beijing Institute of Chemical IndustryInventors: Xiou He, Changli Li, Zhaobin Zhang, Jingkun Liu, Mujun Yuan, Cong Zhou, Yuping Guo, Yonghua Zhao, HainĂ¼ Shen

Patent number: 7838781Abstract: A method (51) for measuring the mass of an object such as a letter (10) in motion. An apparatus (12) for carrying out the present invention includes a pair of rollers (16, 18) through which a letter passes. One of the rollers (16) is driven by a motor (20) which has an associated encoder (22) to give motor positional information to a controller (24). In a method of the present invention the controller generates a ramping torque signal (44) which is provided to the motor. A friction correction curve (40) is generated and applied to the torque signal, and an average torque value (C) is determined. From the positional information provided by the encoder, acceleration (50) is derived and an inertia value is obtained by dividing the average torque (C) by the acceleration. Prior to obtaining an inertia value with a letter, an initial inertia value is obtained without a letter to get a base inertia. The base inertia is subtracted from the measured inertia with a letter to get a difference ?I.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2008Date of Patent: November 23, 2010Assignee: Motion Engineering IncorporatedInventors: Paul Streder, Erik Brewster, Lalo Ruiz, Ariesta Wibisono
