Abstract: A method for the joining of a ceramic shaft and a ceramic plate into an assembly, such as a heater, adapted to be used in semiconductor processing. The joined pieces are adapted to withstand the environments within a process chamber during substrate processing, chamber cleaning processes, and the oxygenated atmosphere which may be seen within the shaft of a heater or electrostatic chuck. The ceramic pieces may be aluminum nitride and the pieces may be brazed with aluminum. The joint material is adapted to withstand both the environments within a process chamber during substrate processing, and the oxygenated atmosphere which may be seen within the shaft of a heater or electrostatic chuck. The joint is adapted to provide a hermetic seal across the joint. The joined pieces are adapted to be separated at a later time should rework or replacement of one of the pieces be desired.

  • Patent number: 8932454
Abstract: This invention relates to the composition, method of making and use of a hydrocracking catalyst that is comprised of a new Y zeolite which exhibits an exceptionally low small mesoporous peak around the 40 ? (angstrom) range as determined by nitrogen adsorption measurements. The hydrocracking catalysts of invention exhibit improved distillate yield and selectivity as well as improved conversions at lower temperatures than conventional hydrocracking catalysts containing Y zeolites. The hydrocracking catalysts herein are particularly useful in the hydrocracking processes as disclosed herein, particularly for conversion of heavy hydrocarbon feedstocks such as gas oils and vacuum tower bottoms and an associated maximization and/or improved selectivity of the distillate yield obtained from such hydrocracking processes.

  • Patent number: 8932404
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing semicrystalline polymer material, wherein the predominantly amorphous raw polymer material, in particular granules, to be treated is introduced into a crystallization reactor (1) and is partially crystallized there by being heated, but without melting, and subsequently the semicrystalline polymer material obtained in such a way is removed from the crystallization reactor (1) and at least part of said semicrystalline polymer material is diverted and mixed back into the crystallization reactor (1) in order to reduce the adhesive tendency of the polymer material. According to the invention, the diverted semicrystalline polymer material is combined and mixed with the raw polymer material before being mixed back into the crystallization reactor (1), and the mixture is then introduced into the crystallization reactor (1).

  • Patent number: 8932047
Abstract: A propellant flow actuated piezoelectric igniter device using one or more hammer balls retained by one or more magnets, or other retaining method, until sufficient fluid pressure is achieved to release and accelerate the hammer ball, such that it impacts a piezoelectric crystal to produce an ignition spark. Certain preferred embodiments provide a means for repetitively capturing and releasing the hammer ball after it impacts one or more piezoelectric crystals, thereby oscillating and producing multiple, repetitive ignition sparks. Furthermore, an embodiment is presented for which oscillation of the hammer ball and repetitive impact to the piezoelectric crystal is maintained without the need for a magnet or other retaining mechanism to achieve this oscillating impact process.

  • Publication number: 20150011395
Abstract: A free liquid helium volatilization superconductive magnetic suspension device includes a low temperature container, a refrigeration, a cold screen, a liquid helium container, a superconductive rotor, a suspension coil, a rotor chamber, a liquid tube, a condenser and a pole-axis displacement sensor. The heat generated by the wires of the suspension coil can be prevented transferring to the liquid helium container by the room temperature current lead joint, the high temperature superconducting current lead joint and low temperature superconducting current lead joint. Therefore the volatilization of the liquid helium in the liquid helium container can be reduced. The status of free liquid helium volatilization in the liquid helium container can be reached through refrigeration cooling condenser to liquefy the helium. The device needs not to be input the liquid helium time after time and can run independently for a long term.
