The lighting power density is to be used by the light source controller to adjust the power used to emit the light.

    Abstract: A method for synthesizing a purified lithium (Li)+ anion binding agent (ABA-F)? salt and the corresponding Li+(ABA-F)? are disclosed. The method includes dissolving a boron-based acid in a polar solvent to form a solution. The solution is refluxed to form an anion binding agent. A stoichiometric amount of a small fluorinated salt, such as LiF, is added to the anion binding agent to form a mixture. The mixture is subsequently crystallized to obtain a substantially pure Li+(ABA-F)? salt. Example purified Li+(ABA-F)? salts include Ox-Li+(ABA-F), m-Li+(ABA-F), and BF3—Li+(ABA-F)?. These purified Li+(ABA-F)? salts provide the benefits of increased battery thermal safety without loss of electrochemical performance.

In an illustrative example, the method may include determining a total number of terminals A of safety devices to be connected to a safety evaluation device having a number of terminals B. If A is greater than B, the method may then include generating a wiring schema that one or more external terminal blocks may show indicia of electrical connections between an identified set of safety devices and a shared terminal of the safety evaluation device associated with that set. Various embodiments may advantageously expand a number of devices possible to be connected beyond a number of terminals.

    Abstract: A single powertrain carrier assembly is provided for mounting or removing multiple fuel cell assemblies in or from an engine bay compartment of a heavy duty truck at the same time. The powertrain carrier assembly can be mounted in new heavy duty trucks, or retrofit into preexisting heavy duty trucks, for example, replacing a diesel engine. The assembly may be provided with a three point mounting system for securing it to a chassis frame, including one front and two angled rear attachment points. In one aspect, the assembly includes a frame structure defining a carrier platform and with lower brackets to secure a first fuel cell assembly below the carrier platform, and upper brackets to secure a second fuel cell assembly above the carrier platform. In another aspect, the assembly includes a frame structure defining lower and upper cavity portions to retain the first and second fuel cell assemblies.

The brazing tube passes through the forming mold, and the trench is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the brazing tube by the protrusion. The optical metasurface includes a membrane printed in a pattern from materials with a high coefficient of thermal expansion (“CTE”). The optical metasurface can include a plurality of high CTE fibers/structures in a first direction and a plurality of low CTE fibers/structures in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. Alternatively, the high CTE substrate can include a plurality of high CTE fibers/structures in only a first direction. The high CTE substrate can include a plurality of high CTE fibers and a plurality of low CTE fiber in a pattern which creates desired sensing domains. An array of nanostructures is formed on the high CTE substrate. The array of nanostructures is designed to resonate with light transmitted through or impinging upon the optical metasurface. The resonant frequency of the response can be tuned thermally.
