    Abstract: Subframe brace apparatus and related assemblies for use with vehicles are disclosed. A disclosed vehicle assembly includes a subframe of a vehicle, a vehicle body structure, and a brace attaching the subframe to the vehicle body structure. A body of the brace includes a first end coupled to the subframe and a second end coupled to the vehicle body structure. The first end of the body is configured to remain connected to the subframe during an offset frontal vehicle impact event in which the subframe applies a first load to the first end. The first end of the body is also configured to separate from the subframe during a full frontal vehicle impact event in which the subframe applies a second load to the first end.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein generally relate to a system for preventing the automatic retraction of a seatbelt. The system generally includes one or more processors, one or more host vehicle status sensors, one or more seatbelt braking mechanisms, and one or more memory modules. The one or more host vehicle status sensors output a status signal that a host vehicle is stopped an off-road driving condition. The one or more memory modules store logic that causes the one or more processors to determine that the host vehicle is in the off-road driving condition based on the status signal output by the one or more host vehicle status sensors and activate the one or more seatbelt braking mechanisms in response to detecting the host vehicle is in the off-road driving condition to prevent automatic retraction of the seatbelt.

A middle feedback loop may comprise a double deadband droop filter that periodically generates a pulse based on the frequency setpoint and the power measurements. The middle feedback loop may update an inner loop setpoint based on the pulse. An inner feedback loop may alter a target fuel valve reference of the genset engine based on the inner loop setpoint generated by the second controller and a fuel valve droop.

The portable MAF training module enables a practitioner to select a desired throttle setting and observe a resultant mass airflow through the portable MAF training module that is measured by the MAF sensor.

In one embodiment, the window assembly can be made by producing passages in a top surface of a first single plate, optionally producing passages in a bottom surface of a second single plate and bonding the top surface of the first plate to a bottom surface of a second single plate to form the window member with the passage or passages. In another embodiment, the window assembly can be made by providing a core around which the window member material is grown and thereafter removing the core to produce the passage or passages.
