Abstract: A tubular member having a first connector provided on a first end thereof, this first connector being adapted to receive a corresponding connector provided on another tubular member, forming a tubular connection comprising: a pin connector, a box connector, an outer diameter, an inner diameter, and a longitudinal axis. The pin connector threads or box connector threads feature a threadform having at least one load flank reduction zone such that when the pin connector is threadably engaged with the box connector, the resulting tubular connection radial bearing strength is desirably reduced. More specifically in the preferred embodiment, the at least one load flank reduction zone is preferably configured such that the tubular connection radial bearing strength is between 100% to 110% of the cross sectional connection strength when the box connector is threadably engaged with a pin connector.

Abstract: A flow measurement system includes two or more flow sensors that may operate simultaneously and a plurality of connected flow paths for flow of fluids. Each flow sensor is positioned along a different flow path of the plurality of connected flow paths and includes at least one flow tube and a support that clamps the flow tube. The flow tube of each flow sensor has a different resonant frequency so that cross-talk between the flow sensors can be reduced or eliminated. In some embodiments, the flow tube of each flow sensor has a different tube length, wall thickness, material, and/or weight. The flow measurement system can also include one or more pumps for pumping fluid into the flow sensors and a dampener arranged between a pump and a corresponding flow sensor for mitigating interference on the flow sensor from operation of the pump.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting dynamic strain of a housing. The system includes an optical fiber linearly affixed along a surface of a length of the housing and an interrogator comprising a laser source and a photodetector. The optical fiber comprises at least one pair of fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) tuned to reflect substantially identical wavelengths with a segment of the optical fiber extending between the FBGs. The segment of the optical fiber is linearly affixed along the surface of the housing. The interrogator is configured to perform interferometry by shining laser light along the optical fiber and detecting light reflected by the FBGs. The interrogator outputs dynamic strain measurements based on interferometry performed on the reflected light.
Abstract: An on-vehicle device is provided with a fuse. A plurality of terminals each have a long-plate shape and are aligned with each other. A fusible portion is connected to two of the plurality of terminals. A housing covers a part of the plurality of terminals and the fusible portion and has heat resistance equal to or higher than 300 degrees. Current flows through the fusible portion. The fusible portion is blown out in the case where the temperature of the fusible portion exceeds a predetermined temperature.
Abstract: A chamber cleaning method in accordance with an exemplary embodiment includes a chamber stabilizing process for transporting a substrate, on which a thin film deposition process has been completed, out of a chamber and processing an inside of the chamber, wherein the chamber stabilizing process includes: a cleaning process for injecting a cleaning gas into the chamber and etching and cleaning byproducts generated by the thin film deposition; and a coating process for injecting a gas including at least one among aluminum (Al), zirconium (Zr) or hafnium (Hf) into the chamber, and generating a protective film on an inner wall of the chamber and at least one surface of components installed inside the chamber.

A surface of a sintered material is divided into an ignition section, a heat preservation section, a middle section, a flue gas heating section, and a machine tail section from a machine head to a machine tail of a sintering machine; according to flue gas components, temperature characteristics, and heat requirements of different sections, a hot exhaust gas is introduced to the ignition section for ignition, a hot exhaust gas is introduced to the heat preservation section and a hydrogen-rich gas is cascadingly sprayed synchronously, cascaded spraying of water vapor is coupled based on spraying of a hydrogen-rich gas in the middle section, and the high-temperature flue gas in the machine tail section and the flue gas in the ignition section and/or the heat preservation section are circulated to the heating section.
