The method generates accurate lane estimates including any of the center of each lane, the number of lanes, and the presence of any bicycle paths, and entrance and exit ramps, merging of two lanes into one lane, or the expansion of one lane into two lanes, using a computer-implemented method where the coarse map data and the image sensor data are subjected to dual reversible jump-Markov chain Monte Carlo filtering.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a drill rig relocation system. Lift frames are provided as add-ons to existing drill rigs, or as integral openings within the length of the base boxes. A lift cylinder and bearing mat assembly is connected beneath the lift frame or base boxes. Each bearing mat assembly has a slew drive for controlled directional rotation. A torque arrest system allows vertical movement of the torque reaction point as the substructure is elevated to control the orientation and magnitude of forces. In one embodiment, the drill rig is supported on linear sleeve bearings slideably mounted in the bearing mat assemblies. Translation cylinders on the bearing mats expand to move the drill rig by translating the linear sleeve bearings along the shafts.

    Abstract: The new cement composite has a matrix made of silicate cement, which is filled with natural crushed aggregate of arbitrary mineralogical composition and/or with artificial aggregate based on expanded clays. The composite further contains mixing water and plasticizers, while their amount is given by the required workability and the rate of the cement composite placement into formwork. The silicate cement has a dosage from 300 to 620 kg/m3 of composite and the aggregate is an aggregate with fraction 0-8 and dosage from 150 to 350 kg/m3 of composite. The composite further contains roughly crushed fragments of natural and/or synthetic textile and/or filling material such as foam plastic with the dosage from 80 to 150 kg/m3 of composite. These crushed fragments have arbitrary shape and their minimum dimension is in units of mm and the maximum dimension is up to tens of mm.

    Abstract: Apparatus for the activation of a deep set surface controlled subsurface valve such as a SCSSV or a gas vent valve by means of hydraulic pressure applied to an externally mounted control line includes the use of supplemental forces to assist the normal closing force to close the valve. The valve comprises a valve body with a longitudinal bore for fluid flow through, a bore closure member such as a flapper or sleeve, a hydraulic piston to provide for valve opening when pressure is applied to the control line and a plurality of spring assemblies to provide for valve closure when applied hydraulic pressure is removed. This spring closure mechanism can be configured in order to enable the valve to be set and safely operate at very deep setting depths. Another approach is the use of magnets of opposite polarity positioned in the valve, one of which is attached to an axially movable flow tube located within the valve.
