  • Patent number: 10030792
Abstract: An underground steel-concrete structure pipeline with a spiral composite reinforcement ring on an inner wall and a manufacturing method thereof. The pipeline includes a pipe body, multiple rows of concrete overflow holes spirally arranged on a pipe wall of the pipe body, a reinforcement ring capable of wrapping the concrete overflow holes, and concrete is filled in a hollow cavity between the reinforcement ring and the pipe wall to form a spiral concrete flow passage. The advantages are that the overall annular strength of the pipeline is reinforced by the reinforcement ring; the concrete filled between the reinforcement ring and the inner wall of the pipe body improves the compressive strength of the pipe body; the concrete overflowing from the overflow holes on the pipe wall combines the pipe body with a pit; and the pipeline solves the difficulty of using large-size steel structure products in underground common pipeline projects.

  • Patent number: 10032285
Abstract: A method and apparatus for analyzing a sequence of images. Signal-to-noise ratios are identified for potential tracks using a tree having hierarchies of nodes identifying potential positions for an object over a period of time and using the sequence of images. Each hierarchy in the hierarchies of nodes represents a time and the potential positions in the tree form the potential tracks for the object. A potential track is selected from the potential tracks as an established track for the object using the signal-to-noise ratios, and a detection of the object is reported.

  • Patent number: 10029482
Abstract: An ultraviolet curing ink can be sufficiently leveled, and attachment of, for example, dust can be prevented. In an ink-jet printer, a carriage capable of reciprocating in a scanning direction is mounted with an ink-jet head for ejecting a color ink and a clear ink and ultraviolet irradiation devices for emitting ultraviolet rays. A control unit performs control so that in the forward movement of the carriage, a color ink is ejected and applied to a medium, and in the backward movement of the carriage, ultraviolet rays are irradiated to the color ink deposited on the medium and the color ink is cured. Subsequently, the medium is fed in a feed direction, and the clear ink is ejected and applied to the surface of the cured color ink in the forward movement of the carriage. In the backward movement of the carriage, the clear ink applied to the medium is irradiated by ultraviolet rays and is cured.

  • Patent number: 10033400
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for identifying and reporting failures of an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). Specifically, the systems and methods described herein evaluate quantization noise properties of ADCs, including delta-sigma ADCs and successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs, to verify functionality and/or identify failures. Quantization noise properties can be evaluated in the frequency domain by, for example, comparing RMS values, magnitudes, frequency spectrums, and the like, in various frequency bands to threshold values and/or to verify an expected noise shape. Quantization noise properties can additionally or alternatively be evaluated in the time domain by, for example, comparing counts of pulse widths, average pulse widths, and/or number of transitions within a sequence of pulses to threshold values and/or to similar identifiable characteristics in other pulse width bands.

  • Patent number: 10031424
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is providing a method for fabricating high quality diffractive waveplates and their arrays that exhibit high diffraction efficiency over large area, the method being capable of inexpensive large volume production. The method uses a polarization converter for converting the polarization of generally non-monochromatic and partially coherent input light beam into a pattern of periodic spatial modulation at the output of said polarization converter. A substrate carrying a photoalignment layer is exposed to said polarization modulation pattern and is coated subsequently with a liquid crystalline material. The high quality diffractive waveplates of the present invention are obtained when the exposure time of said photoalignment layer exceeds by generally an order of magnitude the time period that would be sufficient for producing homogeneous orientation of liquid crystalline materials brought in contact with said photoalignment layer.
