  • Patent number: 9989152
Abstract: A wiper-seal assembly for a cylinder with a cylinder wall and with a relative movable rod/piston rod with a piston wall is arranged for mounting in a ring-shaped groove in a cylinder wall or a rod/piston rod wall in front of a sealing or a steering. The wiper-seal assembly includes a ring-shaped wiper with one or more wiper sealing lip portions against the opposite relatively moving cylinder wall or the rod/piston rod wall. The wiper is further arranged for fluid transport from a gap between the cylinder wall and the rod/piston rod wall outside the ring shaped groove through pressure releasing flow conduits and further to the gap between the cylinder wall and the piston rod wall outside and at the opposite side of the ring shaped groove, and where the wiper-seal assembly further includes one or more filters.

  • Patent number: 9989075
Abstract: A cylinder has first and second coupling partners. The first coupling partner is a cylindrical tube. The second coupling partner is a closing element. One coupling partner is inserted axially into the other coupling partner. Each of the coupling partners has an annular groove. The groove of the inserted coupling partner is an external groove. The groove of the remaining coupling partner is an internal groove and the grooves of the coupling partners lie opposite one another. The working cylinder includes a spring-loaded coupling ring, and which when deformed in a tensioning direction, can be fully accommodated by the groove of one coupling partner and which, when deformed in the release direction, engages in the grooves of both coupling partners. The inserted coupling partner is oversized in relation to the remaining coupling partner and provides a additional frictional connection.

  • Patent number: 9991819
Abstract: A power conversion system is capable of distinguishing easily and clearly between being interconnected to the power system and being in an isolated operation. The power conversion system converts DC power to AC power to interconnect with a power system and injects reactive power into a grid node for determining an isolated operation, including: a voltage detector that detects an output voltage at the grid node; a current detector that detects an output current at the grid node; a frequency measurement unit that measures a frequency of the output voltage at the grid node; a reactive-power measurement unit that measures reactive power at the grid node; and an isolated-operation determination unit that determines whether or not the power conversion system is in an isolated operation as disconnected from the power system. The isolated-operation determination unit includes a reactive-power-fluctuation determination unit that performs a first isolated-operation determination from the reactive power.

  • Patent number: 9987703
Abstract: The plasma spraying apparatus includes a cathode, a first gas nozzle defining a first gas path between the cathode and itself, a second gas nozzle defining a second gas path between the first gas nozzle and itself, and a third gas nozzle disposed between the first and second gas nozzles to define a third gas path between the first and second gas paths. A wire is disposed at a distal end thereof in front of a nozzle opening of the second gas nozzle. A first gas sprayed through the first gas nozzle is turned into plasma flame, which melts the wire into droplets, and the droplets are sprayed onto a target by a second gas sprayed through the second gas nozzle. The third gas absorbs heat from the plasma flame to thereby turn into a high-temperature gas flow externally of the plasma flame.

  • Patent number: 9992219
Abstract: The various technologies presented herein relate to pertaining to identifying and mitigating risks and attacks on a supply chain. A computer-implemented representation of a supply chain is generated comprising nodes (locations) and edges (objects, information). Risk to attack and different attack vectors can be defined for the various nodes and edges, and further, based upon the risks and attacks, (difficulty, consequence) pairs can be determined. One or more mitigations can be generated to increase a difficulty of attack and/or reduce consequence of an attack. The one or more mitigations can be constrained, e.g., by cost, time, etc., to facilitate determination of how feasible a respective mitigation is to implement with regard to finances available, duration to implement, etc. A context-free grammar can be utilized to identify one or more attacks in the supply chain. Further, the risks can undergo a ranking to enable mitigation priority to be determined.
