Abstract: Provided herein are isobutylene-based polymer compositions comprising functionalized isobutylene-based polymer with olefinic side chain substituents, and a sulfur donor and/or accelerator cure system. The functionalized polymer is produced via nucleophilic substitution reaction in solution. Abstract: Systems and methods described herein concern estimating the mass of a vehicle. One embodiment uses a slope estimator to estimate the grade of a roadway on which the vehicle is traveling; inputs state estimates from the slope estimator, an estimated wheel force, and an estimated wheel acceleration to a secondary mass estimator that calculates a first estimated mass of the vehicle; selects, based at least in part on the first estimated mass, a calibration value using a tuning map; inputs the calibration value, the estimated wheel force, the state estimates, and a measurement noise value to a main mass estimator that calculates a second estimated mass of the vehicle that is more accurate than the first estimated mass due, at least in part, to the calibration value; and adjusts automatically one or more operational parameters of the vehicle based, at least in part, on the second estimated mass.

Abstract: This invention relates to a truck mounted forklift (TMFL), more specifically an electrically powered TMFL. The TMFL comprises a U-shaped chassis having a pair of side bars bridged by a rear cross bar, a pair of front wheels, and a rear wheel. The TMFL further comprises a lifting assembly, a driver's station, and a battery pack mounted on the chassis. Each of the front wheels is provided with a dedicated electric wheel motor assembly. The electric wheel motor assemblies each comprise an interior permanent magnet (IPM) motor having a drive shaft, and a planetary gear box coupled to the IPM motor. The planetary gear box is mounted axially in-line with and is driven by the drive shaft. The IPM motor is mounted substantially internal the side bar and the planetary gear box is mounted substantially internal the bounds of the wheel rim. In this way, a very compact configuration of drive assembly for the front wheels is provided.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of condition monitoring a WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) comprising acts of collecting and storage of at least the following data sets together with their time stamps. Collection of generator power production measurements. Collection of mechanical status measurements. Collection of generator torque measurements. Collection of nacelle direction measurements. Collection of meteorological conditions measurements. The method compromises a further act of synchronizing the data sets. The invention also relates to a system for condition monitoring a WTG. Upper ends of the conical distributor, the inner net and the outer net are all connected with an upper cover plate through bolt gaskets. Through the integral design of the inner net, the outer net and the lower cover plate, it is convenient to lift out as a whole, and workers may be prevented from being dispatched to go down into the narrow reactor to dismantle the bolts.

Abstract: Computational algorithms or “solvers” may be executed on intelligent electronic devices (IEDs) in an electric power delivery system to perform tasks such as locating and isolating electrical faults and restoring service to an area after an electrical fault occurs. However, executing the solvers may become a computationally prohibitive task, particularly where computing power is limited (e.g., low-power pole-top computers). In certain embodiments, computing power may be offloaded onto multi-instance networks that may enable processing of large amounts of complex data. It may be difficult for the multi-instance networks to obtain real-time or near real-time data from the electric power delivery system due to cybersecurity concerns. As such, multiple stateless services may be used to evaluate limited and/or obfuscated representations of a portion (e.g., a single feeder circuit) of the electric power delivery system.
