Abstract: A car locator comprising a base for attaching the locator to a car. A cantilevered support bar is pivotally connected with the base to permit pivotal movement and positioning of the bar relative to the base. The support bar is illuminated by a series of LEDS mounted on the support bar and connected to a power source and an optional switch via electrical conductors. The power source may include batteries mounted to or contained within the base. In addition, the switch may be mounted directly on the base.
Abstract: A car locator is provided comprising a base for holding one or more LED light bars in position to mark the location of a vehicle. Each light bar includes a series of LEDS connected to a power source. The power source may include batteries mounted to or contained within the base. In addition, a selector switch may be mounted directly on the base to effect illumination of a selected combination of light bars. To facilitate replacement or substitution of different colored light bars, each light bar includes an end plug for plugging in and out of respective receptacles on the base.
Abstract: A car locator is provided having a base for attaching the locator to a car. A cantilevered support rod is pivotally connected with the base to permit pivotal movement and positioning of the rod relative to the base. A hollow marking sleeve having an outer transparent tube and an inner fluorescent liner disposed within the tube slidably mounts onto the support rod for marking the car. The sleeve engages the support rod with sufficient contact force to retain the sleeve in position on the support rod. The sleeve is slidably removable from the support rod so that the sleeve may be pulled from the support rod.
