Abstract: An HIL simulation platform may analyze a computer-aided design (CAD) drawing of a device of an operator console. The HIL simulation platform may determine, based on analyzing the CAD drawing, device type information and signal information of the device. The device type information identifies a device type of the device and the signal information identifies one or more signal types of signals associated with the device. The HIL simulation platform may generate, based on the device type information, a simulation device for an HIL simulation of an operation of the device in an HIL simulation environment. The HIL simulation platform may generate, based on the signal information, a name of an output signal from the simulation device. The HIL simulation platform may map, based on the name, the output signal to a controller device in a real world environment and execute a computer model to perform the HIL simulation.

  • Patent number: 12292924
Abstract: A differential media uploading system includes a hardware processor and a memory storing software code. The hardware processor executes the software code to receive a timeline file including a playlist track for a video file, and determine whether any pre-existing video frames stored in a media mastering system include a respective image depicted by a video frame contained in the video file. When it is determined that any of the pre-existing video frames include the respective image, the hardware processor executes the software code to disregard the video frame. When it is determined that none of the pre-existing video frames include the respective image, the hardware processor executes the software code to encode the video frame to provide an encoded video frame and upload the encoded video frame to the media mastering system.

  • Patent number: 12293445
Abstract: A robot design and control system including a procedural animation engine and a graphical animation editor that enable animators to author stylized walking gaits achievable by physical robotic characters, including bipedal robots of varying design. The animation engine generates dynamically feasible reference trajectories for omnidirectional walking given a desired walking velocity that may be input from a joystick or an artificial intelligence (AI) planner. This allows a legged robot to walk along an arbitrary path while expressing a custom animation “style,” e.g., a happy walk, a sneaky walk, or other manner of walking. The stylized walking motion or gait is generalized by the animation engine from a small number of animation samples that are defined at key walking velocities and tracked using a whole-body controller. The set of samples that are used as input to define a walking style is authored by an animator using the animation editor.
