Abstract: Systems and methods to effectuate real-world outcomes based on digital assets of users are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive an authentication request including first authentication information from a first user; determine whether the first authentication information is valid by comparing the first authentication information and first access information; determine, responsive to determination that the first authentication information is valid, one or more of the digital assets indicated by a first digital wallet as owned by the first user; determine one or more real-world experiences of the first user; update the experience information correlated with the one or more digital assets owned by the first user as indicated by the first digital wallet in electronic storage based on the one or more real-world experiences; and effectuate real-world outcomes based on the experience information correlated with the one or more digital assets that are owned by the first user.

Abstract: A foldable solar panel including at least two solar modules mounted to a substrate. The foldable solar panel includes hook and loop tape to secure the foldable solar panel in the folded configuration. The foldable solar panel includes at least two straps and at least two horizontal rows of webbing operable to attach the foldable solar panel to a load-bearing platform. The foldable solar panel does not include a controller. The foldable solar panel is operable to charge a battery faster than previously known in the art.

Abstract: A brewing material container for a beverage brewer includes a receptacle and a lid. The receptacle is configured to receive and hold beverage brewing material and to be placed in a brewing chamber of the beverage brewer, and includes a base, and a sidewall extending from the base and terminating in an open end. The lid is configured to engage with the open end of the sidewall to at least partially cover the open end. The lid includes a number of lid openings configured to receive a corresponding respective number of injection nozzles of the beverage brewer. The receptacle base and/or the receptacle sidewall includes a receptacle opening configured to allow fluid flow from an interior of the receptacle to an exterior of the receptacle.

Abstract: A system includes a processor and a memory storing software code. The processor executes the software code to receive a first rendered image having first color and auxiliary buffers, receive a second rendered image having second color and auxiliary buffers, provide a third auxiliary buffer for an intermediate image to be interpolated, and identify one or more context features from each of the color buffers and the auxiliary buffers. The software code further interpolates, based on the context features, the intermediate image to provide an interpolated image, determines, based on the one or more context features from each of the first, second, and third auxiliary buffers, a rendering mask for producing one or more rendered sub-portions of the intermediate image, partially renders, using the rendering mask, the intermediate image to provide a partially rendered image, and blends the interpolated image and the partially rendered image to provide a composite image.

Abstract: An assembly is described for connecting a step or other components to a tow truck or other commercial truck using a sub-frame. The sub-frame includes chassis connection elements that are attached to a chassis of the truck and support elements that extend perpendicularly away from the chassis toward left and right sides of the truck so that the step, a toolbox, or other components may be attached thereto. The step is installed at a height that allows access by a user standing thereon to a bed of the truck and to any items located on the truck bed. The assembly may also include a rear bracket assembly for attaching rear fenders to the truck.

Abstract: A method of mounting, at a desired location, a vehicle sensor pad for a sensor system of a vehicle wherein the sensor pad is initially packaged in a product that includes a foldable clamshell-type housing folded to a closed position to contain the pre-formed sensor pad that was formed in situ therein when the housing was in an open position, prior to closing. The housing has an enclosed volume bounded by relatively thin and flexible walls, and outwardly extending tabs which facilitate opening. This structure enables the user to easily open the housing to remove the sensor pad, a cured silicone composition, by pushing inward on an outer surface of the outer wall of a base section of the housing. This product reduces the amount of manipulation needed to mount the sensor pad in a desired position, for example, during installation of a rain sensor system for a vehicle windshield.

Abstract: In one implementation, a content distribution network includes a first plurality of communication paths for Internet Protocol (IP) signals, a router providing a second plurality of communication paths for non-IP signals, and a plurality of signal sources and a plurality of signal destinations. Each signal source is linked to a respective one signal destination by a respective first communication path of the first plurality of communication paths. Each of one or more of the signal sources designated as a protected source is further linked to the respective one signal destination by a second communication path of the second plurality of communication paths. The content distribution network distributes content in one of a first mode in which the first communication path and the second communication path carry the same content contemporaneously, or a second mode in which only the second communication path carries that content.

The processing hardware is configured to execute the software code to identify a file transfer protocol among multiple file transfer protocols for transferring one or more file(s), to determine, using a test data sample and the file transfer protocol, one or more parameter(s) correlated with a time required for transferring the file(s) using the file transfer protocol, and to provide, based on the parameter(s), an algorithm for transferring the file(s) using the file transfer protocol. The processing hardware is further configured to perform, using the algorithm, a file transfer simulation of the file(s) using the file transfer protocol, to provide, using the file transfer simulation, data pooling parameters for transferring the file(s), and to estimate, based on the file transfer simulation and the data pooling parameters, an elapsed time for transferring the file(s).

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to methods and systems for generating three-dimensional (3D) models and facial hair models representative of subjects (e.g., actors or actresses) using facial scanning technology. Methods accord to embodiments may be useful for performing facial capture on subjects with dense facial hair. Initial subject facial data, including facial frames and facial performance frames (e.g., images of the subject collected from a capture system) can be used to accurately predict the structure of the subject's face underneath their facial hair to produce a reference 3D facial shape of the subject. Likewise, image processing techniques can be used to identify facial hairs and generate a reference facial hair model. The reference 3D facial shape and reference facial hair mode can subsequently be used to generate performance 3D facial shapes and a performance facial hair model corresponding to a performance by the subject (e.g., reciting dialog).

Abstract: Systems, methods, and articles for a wearable and lightweight portable power case are disclosed. The portable power case is comprised of a cylindrical housing, at least two battery elements connected to a printed circuit board (PCB), and at least one separating barrier between the at least two batteries and the PCB. The portable power case is operable to supply power to an amplifier, a radio, a wearable battery, a mobile phone, a tablet, a portable satellite dish and/or any other power consuming device. The portable power case is operable to be charged using solar panels, vehicle batteries, AC adapters, non-rechargeable batteries, and/or generators.

The interlocking hinge helps prevent an opening from forming between the thigh guard and the knee guard during play and prevents the leg guard from moving or rotating about the user's leg during movement. The leg guard also includes a slider assembly attached to the thigh guard that allows for the cushion pad to remain fixed against the thigh of the user while only the cover shell slides up and down the leg as the user assumes any one of a plurality of positions.

The system further includes an encoder including one or more first neural networks (NNs), the encoder configured to use the one or more first NNs to encode the concatenated image data to provide encoded data, a decoder including one or more second NNs, the decoder configured to use the one or more second NNs to decode the encoded data to provide decoded data, and a reconstructor including a plurality of hybrid 2-D/3-D reconstructors configured to reconstruct the decoded data to provide a denoised 3-D output image corresponding to the 3-D image data.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for filling containers with dry ice, where a dry ice generator and a container are configured to be connected via a passage that connects the outlet of the generator and the inlet of the container such that during a transfer of the dry ice from the generator into the container, the passage prevents humidity or moisture from entering the container during the transfer, while, for example by means of at least one one-way escape valve, air, gas, humidity, or moisture are allowed to exit the container.
