  • Publication number: 20140054422
Abstract: A folding kite with a central assembly shaft, or rod, having a generally isosceles triangular-shaped cloth. The front, lateral sides of the cloth form respective tube-like formations for the insertion of rods coming together in a front vertex in an articulated manner. The front-lateral structure includes a central rod dividing the kite into two symmetrical parts. On the central rod, there are assembled in a sliding manner one or more intermediate connectors and a rear connector, which form insertion coupling for respective ends of front and rear rods that at the opposite end thereof are linked with corresponding side connectors arranged for that purpose on the rods assembled on the tube-like formations arranged in the front-lateral edges of the cloth of the kite. The sliding of the connectors on the central rod allows for quick folding or extension of the general structure of the kite.

  • Publication number: 20130020442
Abstract: A static kite of seamless articulated assembly is formed from a laminar body of plastic, cloth or similar material which can be folded and extended by a rod structure which includes a central longitudinal rod and two front-side rods, these being attached by one of their ends on a central connector assembled in a sliding manner on the central longitudinal rod. The free ends of these side rods being anchored in respective side connectors by arms, where the side rods and a shaft which integrally connects the side connector to the arm are housed. The ends of the central longitudinal rods are anchored in respective fixed vertical connectors containing a cavity where the central rod is housed, both side and vertical connectors being pre-attached to the kite by rivets integrally connecting them to the sail preventing rotating or twisting.

  • Publication number: 20130008478
Abstract: A framework for camping tents and parasols has an oscillating secure locking system allowing the folding and extending thereof and having a central part or joint with radial grooves for a prismatic arm in correspondence with each groove. Each arm has at its inner end a channel for the articulated coupling on the transverse axis of the respective groove, allowing the positioning of the arms and of the respective rods coupled to the arms. The cloth, the central part and the oscillating secure locking part are secured of a stem forming part of a cap with a hole for a pull cord for extending the tent or parasol, the stem of the cap being housed in a central hole of the central part.

  • Patent number: 8262027
Abstract: Folding structure for kites, applicable in kites equipped with an internal structure based on rods assembled within the interior of a specific external part of the kite's fabric (1). It allows the kite to be folded and unfolded. It is characterized by the fact that the internal structure is complemented by a central longitudinal rod (2) running through the entire kite. The rod (2) supports various tensing trusses (3) with folding arms (4), which are movable in both directions and associated to a further range of rods (5), and which constitutes the folding structure of the kite.

  • Publication number: 20120018583
Abstract: A folding kite with a central assembly shaft being of the type referred to as a “delta” kite has a generally isosceles triangular shaped cloth. The front-lateral sides of the cloth form respective tube-like formations for the insertion of rods coming together in a front vertex in an articulated manner. The front-lateral structure is complemented with a central rod dividing the kite into two symmetrical and identical parts on the central rod of which there are assembled in a sliding manner one or more intermediate connectors and a rear connector which form insertion coupling for respective ends of front and rear rods which at the opposite end thereof are linked with corresponding side connectors arranged for that purpose on the rods assembled on the tube-like formations arranged in the front-lateral edges of the cloth of the kite.
