Abstract: A disposable pant-type article including a front body panel and a rear body panel, each being elastically stretchable in the transverse direction, and a crotch region being located between a front panel crotch edge and a rear panel crotch edge. The article has first and second leg edges, each leg edge constituted by a front leg edge section being arranged in the front body panel, a rear leg edge section being arranged in the rear body panel; and a crotch leg edge section being arranged in the crotch region. A pre-tensioned first crotch elastic member is arranged extending in the longitudinal direction along the first leg edge and a pre-tensioned second crotch elastic member is arranged extending in the longitudinal direction along the second leg edge. The crotch leg edge section of the leg edges extends completely or partly in the respective crotch elastic member.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a sanitary article (1), such as a sanitary napkin or a pantiliner. The sanitary article (1) has a first fastening wing (9) extending at a first longitudinal side edge (5) and a second fastening wing (10) extending at a second longitudinal side edge (6), the first fastening wing (9) having a first wing maximum width (Wf1max) and the second fastening wing (10) having a second wing maximum width (Wf2max). The first fastening wing (9) comprises a first adhesive region (12) on a garment facing side thereof and the second fastening wing (10) comprises a second adhesive region (13) on a garment facing side thereof, the first and the second adhesive regions (12,13) having a respective adhesive region maximum width (wa1max, wa2max). The first and the second adhesive region (12,13) are covered with a common release paper (14,140), the common release paper (14,140) having a width (wt), as seen in the transverse direction.

Abstract: A method for loading a stack of individual paper units into a dispenser includes inwardly pushing on a pair of oppositely disposed end portions of respective lateral walls of the dispenser, thereby releasing a drawer of the dispenser for sliding movement of that drawer relative to a remainder of the dispenser. The drawer includes first and second, oppositely disposed sidewalls, a bottom wall, and an arcuate front wall that has a dispensing aperture. The bottom wall of the drawer extends between the first and second sidewalls of the drawer, and the sidewalls of the drawer define an open end of the drawer opposite the bottom wall and, jointly with the bottom wall and arcuate front wall, defines a storage volume of the drawer. The drawer is slid outwardly relative to a remainder of the dispenser to thereby expose the first and second sidewalls and bottom wall of the drawer.

Abstract: A composite nonwoven sheet material includes pulp fibers, a reinforcement material and microfibers. The sheet material has one pulp-enriched first outer layer and one microfiber-enriched second outer layer, the reinforcement material is thereby interposed between the pulp-enriched first outer layer and the microfiber-enriched second outer layer and the pulp fibers and the microfibers penetrate the reinforcement material. Also disclosed is a process of producing such composite nonwoven sheet material and the use of such composite nonwoven sheet material.

Abstract: An absorbent article comprising an absorbent core being enclosed by a liquid-permeable core cover comprising an upper core cover layer and a lower core cover layer and having a longitudinal center line. The absorbent core has a pair of longitudinally extending side edges and a pair of transversely extending end edges. The core cover layers are connected inside seals extending along the side edges of the absorbent core. The absorbent core comprises one or more longitudinally extending channels arranged at a distance from the side seals, each of the one or more channels being free or substantially free from absorbent material and having a channel seal extending therein. The channel seal joins the upper and lower core cover layers of the core cover within the channel, with a seal strength of the channel seal being higher than a seal strength of each of the first and the second side seals of the absorbent core.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a multi-ply tissue paper web for tissue paper products including providing a first inner web having a basis weight of 10 to 30 gsm, providing a first and a second outermost web being non-ribbed webs, wherein a non-ribbed web is defined as a web displaying no parallel ribs and valleys extending continuously along any direction of the web or displaying parallel ribs and valleys extending continuously along any direction of the web, said ribs and valleys providing a number of peaks being less than 4 per cm; positioning said first inner web between said first and second outermost webs; and ply-bonding said webs to a form a multi-ply web wherein said first and second outermost webs form the outermost plies of the multi-ply web.

The first and second absorbent layers overlap in the crotch portion. The first absorbent layer has a first layer frontmost half and a rearmost half, the first absorbent layer having front and rear transverse edges. The second absorbent layer has a rearmost half and frontmost half, the second absorbent layer has a rear transverse edge and front transverse edge, wherein a maximum width of the first layer frontmost half is greater than that of the first layer rearmost half and wherein a maximum width of the second layer rearmost half is greater than that of the second layer frontmost half.

The crotch region is generally hourglass-shaped with a narrow intermediate portion. A distance as measured in the transverse direction between the first side edge of the absorbent core and the first side edge of the first crotch elastic member and a distance as measured in the transverse direction between the second side edge of the absorbent core and the first side edge of the second crotch elastic member varying with at most 30 millimetres along a full length of the crotch elastic members.

In a use position, the first protrusion element partially overlaps the second protrusion element with a radial overlap oriented perpendicular to the first and second shafts. A contact element is biased against at least one of the first and second protrusion elements in a direction perpendicular to the first or second longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a double-layer knitted fabric such as a compression article is provided. The method is performed on a knitting machine having at least two needle beds. The knitted fabric includes an outer layer made of a hydrophilic yarn on the first needle bed and an inner layer made of a hydrophobic yarn on the second needle bed. The method includes a. Forming of stitches with a hydrophilic yarn with all needles of the first needle bed and with selected needles of the second needle bed; b. transferring the stitches made of the hydrophilic yarn and formed on the selected needles of the second needle bed to needles of the first needle bed; c. immediately after transferring the stitches, forming of stitches with a hydrophobic yarn on the selected needles of the second needle bed as well as with all other needles of the second needle bed.

Abstract: A compression article and method for its production on a flat-bed knitting machine are provided for providing an improved fit to a body part. In the compression article, respectively the number of stitches per stitch row is matched to the radial circumference of the body part to be treated by the compression article. The compression article has a plurality of points which are distributed over its circumference and at which, in a stitch row, at least one of a stitch increase and a stitch reduction is realized. The number of stitches in the wale direction varies over the circumference of the compression article and is matched, in the longitudinal direction of the body part, to the shape of the body part to be treated.

Abstract: Disposable hygiene article comprising a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core, flexible side flaps arranged on opposite sides of the absorbent core for attaching the article to a garment, and liquid side barriers arranged substantially along longitudinal edges of the absorbent core. The flexible side flaps each comprise at least a side layer which is secured to the topsheet by means of a seam, the seam partitioning the side layer in a first part and a second part with the first part extending from the seam towards the longitudinal centre axis and the second part extending from the seam away from said longitudinal centre axis. The first parts form the liquid side barriers.

Abstract: A disposable absorbent hygiene product is provided, including a main part having a body facing surface intended to face the body of a user and a garment facing surface intended to face away from the body of a user. The main part includes a liquid permeable topsheet at the body facing surface, a liquid impermeable backsheet at the garment facing surface, and an absorbent assembly arranged between the topsheet and the backsheet. The liquid permeable topsheet material includes a hydrophilically treated polypropylene spunbond nonwoven or spunbond/meltblown composite nonwoven, having a basis weight of from 8 to 20 g/m2. An acquisition layer material is provided sandwiched between said topsheet and said absorbent assembly, being an through air bonded nonwoven.
