Abstract: An interior panel for the interior of a vehicle and a method for the production thereof. The interior panel has first and second layers and with the first layer having an air bag cover region extending over an air bag opening in the second layer. The interior panel has a connecting part which is formed from: a first fastening section which is fastened to the airbag cover region of the first layer, a second fastening section which is fastened to the lower side of the second layer, and a coupling section situated between the first fastening section and the second fastening section. The coupling section is made of flexible material such that the airbag cover region may be partially separated from the first layer during airbag deployment while being held by the coupling section.

The upper region is designed as a piping, or in the manner of a piping, for protruding over a visible side of the skins to be positioned. The anchor is designed to be introduced in a groove having a lesser width than the anchor itself and to exert a force on the groove in the lateral direction. The upper region, the center region and the anchor are integral with each other and arranged in the vertical direction relative to each other. Also described is a composite part that uses the profiled retaining section.

Abstract: An actuator for moving a drawer and a cover for an opening in an interior panel part of a vehicle, which, for covering an opening formed in an interior panel part, can be moved between a closed state for covering the opening and an open state for uncovering the opening. The actuator includes a guiding device that guides the movements of the drawer out of and into the opening, a cover opening and closing device that opens and closes the cover, and an unlocking and locking device that unlocks and locks the drawer. The unlocking and locking device includes a bolting device that locks the drawer in a retracted state and an adjustment device that interacts with the bolting device and cover opening and closing device in such a way that moving the cover in its open state causes the adjustment device to release the bolting device with the drawer in its retracted state, so that the drawer can be moved out of the opening.
