    Abstract: In a process for manufacturing chemo-mechanical and/or chemothermal-mechanical wood pulps, raw materials containing lignocellulose, such as wood shavings, wood chips, pre-ground wood or sawdust, are first impregnated with an aqueous alcoholic SO.sub.2 solution and then heated to a temperature between 50.degree. and 170.degree. C. for a period of 1 to 300 minutes. The wood shavings are then ground to the desired degree of fineness in a defibrinating device. The process makes it possible to achieve up to 50% reduction in grinding energy in comparison with known chemothermal-mechanical processes.

    Abstract: In the abstract No. 75-35061W of the WPI, Week 7521, Derwent P. L. London (citing JP-A-118906/1974) there is disclosed a paper with a cover coat applied by the cast coating process, for whose preparation first a prime coat is applied whose pigment composition consists of 30 wt. % of kaolin and 60 wt. % of a polystyrene pigment, and whose binding agent composition includes 10 weight-parts casein and 16 weight-parts of a carboxylated butadiene-styrene latex. After this prime coat has dried a mixture of 80 weight-parts of kaolin, 20 weight-parts of calcium carbonate, 10 weight-parts of casein and 8 weight-parts of a butadiene-styrene latex is applied and the applied composition is pressed at a temperature of 90.degree. C. against a chrome-lacquered surface.

The C-shaped femur cap is made up of two arch-shaped parts spaced apart and connected by a relatively flat third part. Each of the arch-shaped parts has a different radius. The arch-shaped part with the larger radius has an oblong hole extending in the circumferential direction of the part. A shaft can be placed through the oblong hole from the femur into the tibia.     Abstract: In lubricated friction couplings, at least two surfaces are connected by frictional engagement. These surfaces in engagement with one another are termed friction partners. The metallic material is a material of the iron group, preferably sintered metal. The ceramic material is oxide ceramic, especially aluminium oxide or zirconium oxide or silicon nitride.
