Abstract: A container constructed from a cut and scored foldable blank of cardboard or similar material which includes a box blank, which when folded defines a box having four sides extending upward from a bottom to define an open top and a lid blank that is removably secured to the box blank, which when removed and folded defines an enclosure for the open top.

Abstract: A support shelf amounts on a computer monitor for supporting multi-media speakers or other office related items above a horizontal work surface. A base positively locks to an upright in one of a plurality of angularly adjusted positions which allow the upright to support the base horizontally on a titled monitor. The upright has a mounting plate which attaches to the top of the monitor and supports a panel which extends vertically along the side of the monitor. An adjustment plate extends perpendicularly from the bottom of the panel above the work surface and has an inverted V-shape with a flange extending from each side thereof. The base has a square-shaped support surface with a top lip to prevent the speaker or other items from sliding off of the shelf. A bracket is formed with a plurality of horizontally aligned spaced channels on the bottom of the base for receiving the adjustment plate to mount the base to the upright.

Abstract: A carrying case for recorded media such as compact discs and 31/2 inch floppy diskettes and the associated printed graphics. The case includes a base hingedly connected to a lid by a hinge panel. A plurality of hinge pages are pivotally joined together by a hinge assembly and mounted on the hinge panel. The hinge pages hold a compact disc on one side and have a removable cover page mounted on an opposite side to form a multi-media page. The cover page enables the multi-media pages to hold either an additional compact disc or a 31/2 inch floppy diskette, and forms an intervening pocket for holding graphics. A pair of pivot arms extend from each hinge page and a housing is formed on a free end of each arm. The multi-media pages are stacked on top of one another and the arm housings of the hinge pages interlock to form the hinge assembly.

Abstract: A foot rest is provided with a platform that can be vertically adjusted and tilted by the user using only their feet. The foot rest includes a base with a support, a tilt column that cooperates with a locking assembly, and a platform. The locking assembly can be actuated by the user's foot to vary the vertical height of the platform. The platform is slidably engaged to the tilt column to allow the user to vary the inclination of the platform from the horizontal independently of the vertical adjustment.

Abstract: A paper shredding machine having a top housing unremovably sealed to a lower housing. The top housing has upper teeth integrally formed on its inside surface and the lower housing has bottom teeth integrally formed on its inside such that when the top housing is joined with the lower housing and sealed, the upper teeth are unremovably joined with the lower teeth to define a continuous stripper to strip shredded material from the cutting area of the shredding mechanism. The paper shredder is made by providing a top and bottom housing with the top housing having upper teeth and the bottom housing having lower teeth. The top and bottom housings are joined and passed through an ultrasonic welding apparatus to fuse the top housing to the bottom housing and the upper teeth to the lower teeth.

Abstract: A hanging folder file box is provided with four substantially equal sides and with two opposite side panels located within the box and having a vertical height less than the vertical height of the sides of the box. The side panels removably receive channels that in turn receive notched ends of hanging folders so that the hanging folders are maintained completely with the box, A lid or cover can be provided to completely cover the hanging folders and their contents. The body of the file holder box is unitary and constructed of a material suitable for folding such as corrugated fiberboard.

Abstract: A unitary interlocking frame that surrounds the front of a shell of a storage container includes male interlocking members that interlock with female interlocking members provided on the frame of an adjacent container so that when the containers are vertically stacked they can be secured from relative movement with respect to each other.

Abstract: A storage tray is provided with at least one removable divider having a guide that is removably received in a channel formed on the bottom of the tray. The guide is shaped to cooperate with the channel so that when the divider is substantially vertical, the divider is slidably along the entire length of the channel and when the divider is tilted from the substantially vertical position, the divider is substantially secured in position.

Abstract: A container and organizer particularly for computer diskettes. The container includes a housing that can receive a plurality of holders which can be moved from an aligned position to an offset position. The holders have at least one horizontal retaining ridge to retain an adjacent holder in the offset position.

Abstract: A multi-media storage tray is provided that can store and organize different combinations of media. The tray has at least one removable insert that allows at least two columns of 3 1/2 inch computer diskettes to be placed side by side.

Abstract: A modular multi-media cabinet is provided that can store and organize different combinations of media material. The cabinet can be combined vertically and horizontally with other like cabinets. The cabinet has an extractable drawer with removable partition members that can divide the drawer, or a portion of it, longitudinally. Columns of slots are located on the bottom to removably engage removable dividers to further organize media material stored within the drawer.

Abstract: A cover and wrist rest for a keyboard, such as for computers, is provided so that in one position it can provide a closed compartment suitable for storing computer diskettes, pens, pencils, and the like and also provide support for a user's wrist and in another position it can cover the keys of the keyboard to prevent damage to the keys and unwanted material from entering the space between the keys.
