The flashing laminate also includes an adhesive layer on a longitudinally extending portion of the bottom surface adjacent to one of the longitudinal edges. In one or more embodiments, the laminate also includes a release liner positioned over the adhesive tape.

The geomembrane liner (12) has a submerged portion (14), an exposed portion (15) and an anchor portion (16). The binder (22) adheres to the exposed portion (15) of the geomembrane liner, and the particulate (24) adheres to the binder (22). A method of applying a protective cover to the exposed portion (15) of the geomembrane liner includes spraying the binder (22) onto the liner (12), allowing the binder (22) to partially cure, and spreading the particulate (24) over the partially cured binder (22).

Abstract: A method of simultaneously manufacturing multiple mesh-reinforced thermoplastic membranes including providing a roll of mesh reinforcing sheet having a first side and a second side and drawing the mesh sheet through a cutting device to the cut the mesh sheet longitudinally and create a plurality of mesh sheets. The method also includes separating the plurality of mesh sheets to create gaps therebetween and simultaneously extruding a molten thermoplastic layer onto both the first and second sides of the plurality of mesh sheets and over the gaps to create a single mesh-reinforced thermoplastic membrane. The mesh-reinforced thermoplastic membrane is then cut longitudinally along the gaps between the plurality of mesh sheets to create a plurality of mesh-reinforced membranes, each membrane having a pair of longitudinally extending gum edges.

Abstract: A collapsible roof curb includes a base portion having opposed end walls and opposed side walls extending between the end walls, and an upper portion having opposed upper end walls and opposed upper side walls. The roof curb also includes a hinge connecting each of the end walls of the base portion to the end walls of the upper portion and the side walls of the base portion to the side walls of the upper portion, the hinges being adapted to allow the end walls and side walls of the upper portion to pivot from a collapsed position to an extended position.

Abstract: A method of forming a building material with a pre-applied adhesive, the method comprising the steps of manipulating a first membrane and a second membrane to be spaced from one another along parallel adjacent edges to form a gap; securing a single strip of adhesive tape to a top surface of both said first and second membranes adjacent to said adjacent edges so that said adhesive tape extends over said gap; and cutting along the length of said adhesive tape to form a first adhesive tape and a second adhesive tape, said first adhesive tape being secured to the top surface of said first membrane and extending over a portion of said gap, and said second adhesive tape being secured to the top surface of said second membrane and extending over a portion of said gap.

Abstract: A method of pre-priming a membrane includes folding the membrane along a longitudinal axis to create a folded membrane. The folded membrane includes a lower layer, an upper layer, and an exposed portion of the lower layer that is uncovered by the upper layer. A primer is applied over the exposed portion and a portion of the upper layer adjacent thereto simultaneously.
