Abstract: It is provided a self-capacitance touch screen detection method, device and system. The method includes: receiving a scanning waveform by a currently detected channel of a self-capacitance touch screen; inputting the voltage of the scanning waveform into an input terminal of a voltage following unit, and driving at least a preset channel that is adjacent to the currently detected channel of the self-capacitance touch screen via an output terminal of the voltage following unit; and calculating self-capacitance touch screen coordinate data for a touch in the currently detected channel. The method not only avoids the disturbance to the detection for a touch in the currently detected channel generated due to water vapor or a water droplet, but also obtains an increased relative change generated by the same touch, and thereby the detection sensibility of the self-capacitance touch screen is improved.

  • Patent number: 8599168
Abstract: A touch detection method for capacitive touch panels includes the steps of scanning the rows and columns of the capacitive matrix of a touch panel respectively; obtaining the capacitance differential value; processing the obtained capacitance differential value; and determining whether there is a touch on the touch panel in response to the processed capacitance differential value. The capacitance differential value is obtained by one of the steps of synchronously scanning two rows at the same time; synchronously scanning two columns at the same time; scanning one row to obtain the capacitance differential value between the row and a reference capacitance; and scanning one column to obtain the capacitance differential value between the column and a reference capacitance. The present invention creates conditions for the elimination of common code interferences and greatly improves the interference resistance of a capacitive touch panel.

  • Publication number: 20130314366
Abstract: A method of driving and detection for a capacitive touch screen and a device thereof are provided. The method includes: sending, from a driving side, excitation signals through a plurality of channels simultaneously during the same driving and detection time period; receiving, by each of receiving channels at a receiving side, a charge signal generated from the excitation signals through coupling capacitances at corresponding touch detection points, and performing detection, which includes: converting and amplifying the charge signal into a voltage signal, and performing signal demodulation and analog-to-digital conversion on the voltage signal; and storing digital signals obtained from the analog-to-digital conversion, and analyzing the digital signals by a controller to obtain a detection result. This can achieve rapid scan, increase frame rate in detection, and meet the rapidity requirement for performing display driving and touch detection at different time slots.

  • Patent number: 8493131
Abstract: The invention discloses a capacitive touch panel detection circuit and a boost circuit thereof, wherein the boost circuit comprises a plurality of charge pumps in series, a sequence circuit and a voltage-stabilizing circuit. The charge pump comprises a first switch, a second switch, a third switch, a fourth switch, a first capacitor and a second capacitor. The switches are controlled by the sequence circuit. During the first half of the working cycle of the charge pump, the first capacitor is charged. During the second half of the working cycle of the charge pump, the second capacitor is charged so that the voltage is two times of the power voltage, after the first capacitor is connected with the power supply in sequence. The boost circuit of the invention does not need an induction and a Schottky diode. All of the capacitors except a voltage-stabilizing capacitor can be integrated into a chip. Therefore, the number of off-chip ancillary components can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20130076689
Abstract: A mutual capacitance touch screen to cause dispersed coupling of electrodes includes driving electrode chains, sensing electrode chains and a data processing module. The central line of any driving electrode chain and the central line of any sensing electrode chain are mutually vertical. The driving electrode chains comprise at least two driving electrode plates. Two adjacent driving electrode plates are electrically connected by means of driving electrode connecting strips made of the conductive material. Thus, two clearances are formed between two adjacent driving electrode plates. Bar-shaped concave clearances which are recessed towards the driving electrode plates are also arranged on the driving electrode plates. The sensing electrode chains are arranged to fill the gaps and the concave clearances among the driving electrode chains in the touch screen. In the utility model, the coupling electric field is dispersed.
