  • Patent number: 11888403
Abstract: A galvanic isolator circuit and method provide for galvanically isolating and current limiting a power source from a load. A direct current (DC) input voltage (“vin”) and an input current (“iin”) are received. A full- or half-bridge rectifier is switched to synthesize a first alternating voltage waveform that magnetically couples through a transformer to induce a second alternating voltage waveform with galvanic isolation from the first alternating voltage waveform, preventing potentially-faulted load from a source. The second alternating voltage waveform is rectified to produce a direct current (DC) output voltage (“vo”) having output current (“io”) through more than one drive transistor or diode. The more than one primary-side drive transistor is current limited to reduce or prevent brown-out, black-out, or protective race conditions in the non-faulted portions of DC power generation systems and DC distribution electrical power systems.

  • Patent number: 11885870
Abstract: The present application discloses a new form of ?-STAP, referred to herein as post ?-STAP or P?-STAP, which overcomes the drawbacks associated with existing ?-STAP techniques. The P?-STAP techniques described herein facilitate the generation of additional training data and homogenization after pulse compression. For example, P?-STAP techniques may apply a plurality of homogenization filters to a pulse compressed datacube generated from an input radar waveform, which produces a plurality of new pulse compressed datacubes with improved characteristics. Unlike existing ?-STAP techniques described above, which require pre-pulse compressed data to operate, the P?-STAP techniques disclosed in the present application are designed to utilize pulse compressed data, and therefore may be readily applied to legacy radar systems.

  • Patent number: 11879023
Abstract: The present invention relates to articles comprising crosslinked polymer network comprising thioether crosslinks and process of making and using same. Such thiol-ene crosslinking reactions not only make the isocyanate crosslinking reaction unnecessary, but they also improve the article's strength due to chemical crosslinking between the article's resin layers, and reduce or eliminate post curing. Thus resulting in a sufficiently cured article in a much shorter time.

  • Patent number: 11876115
Abstract: A gallium oxide field effect transistor that is built on a base layer. A doped gallium oxide channel layer is disposed on top of the base layer, and a dielectric barrier layer is disposed on top of the gallium oxide channel layer. Source contacts and drain contacts are disposed on top of the dielectric barrier layer, with one each of the drain contacts disposed in an interdigitated manner between one each of the source contacts. The interdigitated source contacts and drain contacts thereby define channels between them, where alternating ones of the channels are defined as odd channels, with even channels disposed therebetween. Gate contacts are disposed on top of the dielectric barrier layer in only one of the odd channels and the even channels.

  • Patent number: 11873123
Abstract: The present invention relates to an aerospace vehicle navigation and control system comprising a terrestrial illumination matching module for determining spacecraft position and attitude. The method permits aerospace vehicle position and attitude determinations using terrestrial lights using an Earth-pointing camera without the need of a dedicated sensor to track stars, the sun, or the horizon. Thus, a module for making such determinations can easily and inexpensively be made onboard an aerospace vehicle if an Earth-pointing sensor, such as a camera, is present.

  • Patent number: 11872084
Abstract: An acoustic imaging system responsive to an acoustic wave emitted from an object is disclosed. The system detects a deflection angle of an electromagnetic probe beam as it passes through a coupling element. The coupling element also couples the acoustic wave emitted from the object to an acoustic detector. The probe beam deflection angle is related to an angle of propagation of the acoustic wave through the coupling element. A filtering unit is configured to remove components of the signal from the acoustic detector that are outside of a range of angles, thereby improving the angular resolution of the acoustic detector. The acoustic wave may be generated by an acoustic source, such as an ultrasound transmitter, or an electromagnetic source such as a laser.

  • Patent number: 11875245
Abstract: Systems and associated methods for constructing neural networks (NN) without the benefit of predefined output spike times or predefined network architecture. Functions are constructed from other functions determined from an input construction training set of output variable type. Method aspects of the neural network modeler may comprise partitioning the construction training set, representing the partitions, restricting the representations, constructing subfunctions from the restrictions, and combining the subfunctions to model the target function. Specifically, subfunctions represented from partition-specific neural networks of output value type are created using two fundamental composition operations: same-constant composition and different-constants composition. Different choices of weights and delays lead to different NNs with different output spikes that implement the same function.
