Abstract: An implantable medical device (IMD) charger apparatus may include an IMD charger including a housing defining a bottom surface, a primary coil located within the housing, and a fastener on the bottom surface of the housing, and a charger support, mounted on the IMD charger, including a bottom surface, and movable between a first state and a second state. The IMD charger and the charger support may be respectively configured such that the IMD charger fastener is above the charger support bottom surface when the charger support is in the first state and the IMD charger fastener is at or below the charger support bottom surface when the charger support is in the second state.

Abstract: Provided herein are methods related to detecting rearrangements in the B-cell lymphoma 6 (BCL6) corepressor (BCOR) or BCL6 corepressor-like protein I (BCORL1) gene, as well as methods of treatment, uses, and kits related thereto. As demonstrated herein, detection of BCOR rearrangements can be used to identify individuals that may benefit from treatment with a targeted therapeutic, such as a CDK inhibitor, an MDM2 inhibitor, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, a MEK inhibitor, an mTOR inhibitor, or a Hh inhibitor. In some embodiments, the BCOR rearrangement is a fusion gene between BCOR and L3MBTL2, EP300, NUTM2G, MAP7D2, RALGPS1 RGAG1, CREBBP, ING3, NUGGC, or KMT 2D.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for classifying sounds based on a neural code in a spiking neural network and a method thereof. A method of classifying sounds based on a neural code in a spiking neural network includes: receiving sounds to be classified and digitally converting the received sounds into sound data; preprocessing the sound data using a multiple neural code-based encoding method including rate code encoding and synchrony code encoding; inputting the preprocessed sound data to a biological spiking neural network to extract features; performing biological spike timing-dependent plasticity (STDP) rule-based learning using the extracted features; and performing classification of the sounds according to neural code propagation characteristics using a test dataset according to a result of the performing of the learning.

Abstract: A system for low power chemical sensing can include a voltage shift unit which receives a voltage signal from a chemical sensor unit. The voltage signal can be determined by a concentration of an analyte. The voltage shift unit can transform the voltage signal to an input voltage signal, and send the input voltage signal to a plurality of frequency selective surface (FSS) units of an FSS array. The FSS array can communicate a radio frequency (RF) signal in an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) S band with a resonant frequency based on the input voltage to provide the concentration of the analyte.
