Abstract: A computer architecture provides both a parallel memory bus and serial memory bus between a processor system and memory. Abstract: The present invention relates to a transceiving method and apparatus that enable QAM signal transmission in a filter bank multi-carrier (FBMC) communication system and provides, in particular, a transceiving method and apparatus that enable quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) signal transmission without intrinsic interference by separating filtering between a sub-carrier having an even index and a sub-carrier having an odd index, and superimposing and transmitting sub-carriers filtered by means of separation. The thus-rendered present invention is a transmission method in the FBMC communication system, the method comprising the steps of: dividing at least two QAM signals into a plurality of groups; performing filtering on each of the plurality of groups; and superimposing and transmitting the QAM signal in the plurality of groups filtered on a time axis. The present invention relates to a transmission method and apparatus, and a corresponding reception method and apparatus.

Abstract: Apparatus and techniques for broadband Fourier transform spectroscopy can include frequency hopping spread-spectrum spectroscopy approaches. For example, an excitation source power can be spread over a specified frequency bandwidth, such as by applying a sequence of short, transform-limited pulses to a sample. Each pulse can include a specified carrier frequency, and a corresponding bandwidth of the individual pulse can be determined by a frequency domain representation when Fourier transformed. A series of short excitation pulses can be used to create an excitation sequence, such as to deliver a specified or desired amount of power to the sample, such as by having the excitation source enabled for a time comparable to a free induction decay (FID) dephasing time.

Abstract: In one aspect, compositions are described herein. In some embodiments, a composition described herein comprises the reaction product of (i) citric acid, a citrate, or an ester of citric acid with (ii) a polyol, and (iii) a monomer comprising one or more alkyne moieties and/or azide moieties. Abstract: Disclosed are a recombinant Corynebacterium glutamicum (C. glutamicum) for producing fucosyllactose which is transformed to express ?-1,2-fucosyltransferase, GDP-D-mannose-4,6-dehydratase (Gmd), GDP-L-fucose synthase (WcaG) and lactose permease (LacY), wherein the Corynebacterium glutamicum has phosphomannomutase and GTP-mannose-1-phosphate guanylyltransferase, and a method for producing fucosyllactose using the same. According to the recombinant Corynebacterium glutamicum and the method for producing fucosyllactose according to the present invention, with use of a GRAS Corynebacterium glutamicum strain, which is safer than conventional Escherichia coli, 2?-fucosyllactose can be produced at a high concentration while overcoming drawbacks of conventional methods associated with industrial inapplicability resulting from low production concentrations.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a light-emission-layer material comprising: a novel polycyclic aromatic compound (1) in which a plurality of aromatic rings are linked by a boron atom and a nitrogen atom; and a specific anthracene-based compound (3) that achieves optimum light-emission characteristics in combination with said polycyclic aromatic compound. Abstract: Embodiments of this invention relate to adhesives, and more particularly to biomimetic heteropolymer adhesive compositions. Certain embodiments relate to biomimetic terpolymer adhesive compositions including dopamine methacrylamide, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine, or 3,4-dihydroxy styrene, mimicking moieties found in marine mussel adhesive proteins. In some embodiments, elastic moduli of the adhesives are preferably selected to match the elastic moduli of the substrates to minimize stress concentrations, to increase the ductility of the adhesive-substrate system, or both.
