Abstract: A multi-stream transmission method and device are provided for transmitting N data streams allocated to K different users. The method is implemented by a transmitter for a multi-user MIMO system having NT transmit antennas and ? k = 1 K ? ? N R k receive antennas associated with K receivers respectively associated with the K users. The method includes: performing a succession of two different iterative algorithms for calculating K precoding matrices of a linear precoder and K decoding matrices of a receiver, the receiver being of the normalized MF type with a Frobenius norm for the first algorithm, and the second iterative algorithm being initialized by a value output by the first iterative algorithm; and before each calculation of precoding matrices, calculating weights for weighting all of the streams.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining transfer functions of the HRTF type for an individual, that includes: measuring, for a first number of directions, the transfer functions of the HRTF type specific to the individual; matching the directivity functions associated with the measured functions of the HRTF type, with reference directivity functions associated with reference transfer functions of the HRTF type, the reference functions of the HRTF type being determined for a second number of directions higher that the first number of directions and reconstructing the measured directivity functions from the reference directivity functions.
Abstract: A method is provided for communication between at least one source entity and one destination entity, in a cooperative network that includes a plurality of entities. The method includes a step of determining, for a given entity of the network, a temporal variation of an impulse response of a transmission channel established between the given entity and another entity. The method further includes: a step of determining a temporal variation of an impulse response of at least one global transmission channel intended to be established between the source entity and the destination entity and passing through at least one relay entity, on the basis of the temporal variations of the impulse responses of the transmission channels; and a step of selecting a global transmission channel from among the set of global transmission channels determined.
Abstract: A method of managing the sending of multimedia contents to a mobile terminal (2) equipped with a security module (3), the multimedia contents being sent in encrypted form from a broadcast server (1) and via a communications network (4). The method comprises the following steps: a) sending to the mobile terminal (2) rights-of-use data for a multimedia content, b) storing said rights-of-use data in the security module (3) of the mobile terminal (2), c) generating a series of encryption/decryption keys, the series of decryption keys being generated from rights-of-use data stored in the security module (3), d) sending the multimedia content to the mobile terminal (2), the content being encrypted with successive keys from the series of encryption keys that has been generated, and e) the mobile terminal receiving the multimedia content and decrypting the multimedia content using the decryption keys from the series of decryption keys generated in the security module of the mobile terminal.

Abstract: A method is provided for analyzing a piece of multimedia content including a time series of elementary entities, in order to check whether or not the piece of multimedia content includes at least one piece of reference content referenced in a content base. Abstract: Voice and/or image data packets are transferred by a packet handler between user stations in a GSM-type mobile communications system using a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) data link. Control data for controlling a call is stored in a data store accessible by the packet handler. The control data identifies call participants and the identity of a participant who has currently seized the call. A mobile station capable of video conferencing is operable in a half-duplex video conferencing mode, in which intermittent transmission of video data is controlled by depression of a transmit button.
Abstract: The invention relates to a secure communication between an electronic label (A) and a reader (B), in particular for the authentication of the label by the reader, in which: the reader (31) transmits at least one datum (Ch) to the label, the label calculates a combination comprising at least the datum from the reader (Ch)) and a secret (Si) specific to the label, and the label communicates (32) the result (C(Si, Ch)) of the combination to the reader (B) for verification purposes.
