  • Publication number: 20120150396
Abstract: In a gear shift control unit for an automatic transmission, when an up-shift switch or a down-shift switch of a paddle shift switch is turned ON, a gear shift mode is set to a temporary manual shift mode, and a target transmission gear stage is shifted up or shifted down. Subsequently, a manual assist control is executed. In the manual assist control, an acceleration is calculated from a temporal differentiation of a vehicle speed. After it is detected that the acceleration is larger than or equal to an acceleration determination threshold, an accelerator pedal return acceleration is calculated from a double temporal differentiation of an accelerator opening degree. When the accelerator pedal return acceleration is smaller than or equal to another acceleration determination threshold, the current target transmission gear stage is automatically shifted down.

  • Publication number: 20120139490
Abstract: A vehicle externally chargeable with electric power transmitted through a charging cable from an external power supply includes a chargeable power storage device, a charging device and a control device. The charging device supplies charge power to the power storage device using the electric power transmitted from the external power supply. The control device controls the charging device to limit the charge power based on the state of the power transmission path from the external power supply to the charging device. By this configuration, even when an extension cable is added by a user or when a failure occurs in the charging cable and the like, damage to the cable and influences upon surrounding devices due to excessive heat generation at the cable can be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20120143451
Abstract: In a vehicle shift control apparatus, a T/M_ECU has data of cancellation conditions stored therein in advance, which vary depending on modes of driving force characteristics and, in a temporary manual shift mode, selects a cancellation condition for the temporary manual shift mode which corresponds to a current mode and makes a determination as to whether the cancellation condition is satisfied. If it is determined that the cancellation condition for the temporary manual shift mode is satisfied, the T/M_ECU returns the temporary manual shift mode to the automatic shift mode.

  • Patent number: 8175797
Abstract: A form of a travel path of an oncoming vehicle is recognized based on white-line data. A speed component of the oncoming vehicle with respect to the travel path (route) is calculated by weighting a lateral speed component orthogonal to the route and a lateral speed component following the route, with a speed correction coefficient which is set in accordance with a relative distance between a subject vehicle and the oncoming vehicle. A change in behavior of the oncoming vehicle is predicted, and a possibility of collision against the subject vehicle is determined. If it is determined that there is a possibility of collision, an alarm is output to alert a driver to the possibility of collision.

  • Patent number: 8166635
Abstract: In a current collector laminating step, a current-collector laminate unit 30 composed of current-collector materials 31 and 32 and a film material 33 is formed. Resist layers 34 having a predetermined pattern are formed on both surfaces of the current-collector laminate unit 30. An etching process is performed with the resist layers 34 used as a mask, whereby through-holes 20a and 23a are formed on the respective current-collector materials 31 and 32. The resist layers 34 are removed from the current-collector laminate unit 30. Since the etching process is performed on the plural current-collector materials 31 and 32, productivity of an electrode can be enhanced. During the application of the slurry, the film material 33 prevents the leakage of the electrode slurry. Therefore, the current-collector laminate unit 30 can be conveyed in the horizontal direction, whereby the productivity of the electrode can be enhanced.
