  • Patent number: 11718902
Abstract: The present disclosure provides rare earth die steel. Mg and B elements are added on the basis of adding rare earth element Y, so that the rare earth element purifies a matrix, and grain boundary occupation by Mg and B is fully utilized to regulate grain network chromium carbides. In addition, the B element can fully improve hardenability of austenite and ensure that non-martensite such as bainite does not appear during the cooling process, and therefore rare earth die steel with high impact toughness and high isotropy is obtained.

  • Patent number: 11718890
Abstract: A high-strength and high-plasticity TWIP steel and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. In the disclosure, comprehensive properties of TWIP steel are improved by inclusion modification with Ce and Ba addition, fine grain strengthening and twinning nanocrystallization; the grain size is controlled by a low-temperature cold rolling, a transient annealing treatment and a low-temperature tempering treatment. Considering the addition of Ce, stacking fault energy of the TWIP steel is reduced, and the formation of twins, and the division of twins into grains are promoted, which further reduces a mean free path of dislocation motion, thereby improving yield strength, and finally obtaining a high-strength and high-plasticity TWIP steel.

  • Patent number: 11705257
Abstract: The present invention relates to an R-T-B sintered magnet and a preparation method thereof. The sintered magnet includes a grain boundary region T1, a shell layer region T2 and an R2Fe14B grain region T3; at 10 ?m to 60 ?m from a surface of the sintered magnet toward a center thereof, an area ratio of the shell layer region T2 to the R2Fe14B grain region T3 is 0.1 to 0.3, and a thickness of the shell layer region T2 is 0.5 ?m to 1.2 ?m; and an average coating percent of the shell layer region T2 on the R2Fe14B grain region T3 is 80% or more. In the present invention, by optimizing a preparation process and a microstructure of a traditional rare earth permanent magnet, diffusion efficiency of heavy rare earth in the magnet is improved, such that coercivity of the magnet is greatly improved, and manufacturing cost is reduced.

  • Patent number: 11661388
Abstract: A process produces sodium and/or potassium alkoxides in countercurrent by reactive rectification. Alcohol is reacted in countercurrent with the respective alkali metal hydroxide. The vapours containing alcohol and water are separated into at least two serially arranged rectification columns. The energy of the vapour obtained in the first rectification is utilized for operating the second rectification. This specific energy integration coupled with establishing a certain pressure difference in the two rectification stages makes it possible to cover a particularly large proportion of the energy required for the rectification through electricity and to save heating steam.

  • Patent number: 11662353
Abstract: A method for assessing an effect of hypoxia on a tissue includes providing a sample of the tissue in a hermetically sealed container, determining a first amount of a reaction substrate (e.g., protocatechuic acid) to be introduced into the sealed container and determining a second amount of a reaction enzyme (e.g., protocatechuate dioxygenase) to be introduced into the sealed container. The method further includes introducing the reaction substrate and the reaction enzyme into the sealed container. At least one of the first amount of the reaction substrate and the second amount of the reaction enzyme is selected to induce at least one of a predetermined amount of hypoxia less than anoxia and a predetermined rate of hypoxia in the tissue during a reaction between the reaction substrate and the reaction enzyme. Values of properties of the tissue can be measured before and after the reaction to assess effects of hypoxia.

  • Patent number: 11634372
Abstract: A method can be used for producing alkali metal alcoholates in counter flow by reactive rectification. The alkali metal is selected from sodium and potassium. In a first part of the method, the alcohol is converted in counter flow with the respective alkali metal hydroxide. In a second part of the method, the mixture of alcohol and water obtained is separated in a rectification column, and the alcoholic vapour arising is condensed, as a result of which the temperature thereof increases. The energy dissipated during cooling of the condensed vapour is then used in the first part of the method. This permits an energy-efficient production of the alkali metal alcoholates concerned.

  • Patent number: 11629415
Abstract: A process for electrochemical preparation of sodium alkoxide is performed in an electrolysis cell having three chambers, wherein the middle chamber is separated from the cathode chamber by a solid-state electrolyte permeable to sodium ions, and from the anode chamber by a diffusion barrier. The geometry of the electrolysis cell protects the solid-state electrolyte permeable to sodium ions from acidic destruction by the pH of the anolyte that falls in the course of electrolysis. The anolyte used in the process is a brine also comprising carbonates and/or hydrogencarbonates, as well as NaCl. The process solves the problem that CO2 from these carbonates and/or hydrogencarbonates forms in the electrolysis cell during the electrolysis of this brine obtained from pretreatment. The process prevents the formation of a gas bubble in the electrolysis cell that disrupts electrolysis and reduces the contamination of the chlorine with CO2.
