Abstract: A sling slider element has a frame defining an aperture, a rotor pivotally connected to the frame, the rotor received in the frame aperture, the frame and rotor configured to receive a strap, and the rotor movable with respect to the frame between a disengaged position in which the strap is free to slide with respect to the rotor and an engaged position in which the strap is engaged to the frame and rotor. The frame may include a pivot pin spanning the aperture. The frame aperture may be rectangular, and the rotor may be rectangular. The frame may be a planar body, and the rotor may have a planar body portion coplanar with the frame when in the engaged position. The rotor may have a handle element extending away from the planar body portion. The handle element may extend perpendicularly from the planar body portion.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to load carrier systems and associated manufacturing methods. In one embodiment, a load carrier system can include a unitary piece of material. The unitary piece of material can include a body portion comprising a first face side, an opposing face side, a first peripheral edge and an opposing second peripheral edge; and one or more straps comprising a respective extended end, wherein the straps are an integral part of the body portion; wherein the one or more straps are folded over onto the first face side adjacent to the first peripheral edge; and wherein at least one respective end of the one or more straps is fastened to the opposing second peripheral edge.

Abstract: A weighted wearable training apparatus has a weight shell with a front surface, a rear surface, a top, a bottom, a first side edge and a second side edge. The weight shell is adapted to cover at least a portion of a user's limb. A plurality of pockets are positioned on the rear surface of the weight shell. At least one removable weight sized to fit within one of the pockets. At least one attachment mechanism is provided for holding the weight shell to the user's limb.

Abstract: A pet privy system is provided that is compact for shipping, and can be easily and quickly assembled by an owner. The system includes a cloth enclosure that has sidewalls and a top. A frame assembly supports the cloth enclosure, and includes a top frame, first and second side frames connected to the top frame, and cross-members that are connected between opposite sides of the first and second side frames from the top frame. A removable pan having a length and a width is provided, with the length being less than a distance between the first and second side frames. The pan is slideable between the first and second side frames. An inner guard wall is also provided having two sides and a back that are connected together and located inside the frame assembly and are adapted to be located between the sidewalls of the cloth enclosure and the removable pan.

Abstract: Portable cooking assemblies are disclosed herein. The portable cooking assemblies include a windscreen and a cooking vessel assembly. The windscreen includes a body that may be movable between a ready-to-use configuration in which the body defines an inner volume configured to receive the cooking vessel assembly and a compact storage configuration. The windscreen may be configured to fit inside the cooking vessel assembly in the compact storage configuration. The windscreen may include a releasable fastening mechanism that is configured to selectively hold the windscreen in the ready-to-use configuration. The windscreen is configured to hold the cooking vessel assembly above a flame, serving as a base for the cooking vessel assembly. Specifically, the windscreen may include one or more support members that extend radially inwardly from the body when the windscreen is in the ready-to-use configuration, and that are configured to hold and/or center the cooking vessel assembly.

Abstract: One aspect of this disclosure is a pole apparatus. The pole apparatus may comprise a grip segment comprising a cord attachment surface; a pole segment; a tip segment and a cord extending between at least the pole segment and the tip segment. The grip segment, the pole segment, and the tip segment may be arrangeable in a side-by-side disposition. A portion of the cord extending between the pole segment and the tip segment may be positionable on the cord attachment surface in the side-by-side disposition. The grip segment may be removably attachable to the tip segment such that, when the portion of the cord is positioned on the cord attachment surface, the removable attachment of the grip segment to the tip segment may maintain the side-by-side disposition. Abstract: An interactive device for improving accuracy in archery and similar endeavors is provided. In some embodiments, a deformable device is provided that is operable to communicate with an archery bow and receive force during use of the bow. The deformable device is operable to deflect in a manner that produces an audible and tactile signal to a user. The signal may correspond to an appropriate amount of string tension or draw, for example.

Abstract: A cut resistant and highly translucent tote utilizes a multilayer knitted metal fabric having a knitted metal outside layer and a knitted metal inside layer. These two knitted layers may be independent in a portion of the tote, such as in a clear-view portion of the tote, configured to allow clear visibility of items retained in the tote. The independent layers of knitted fabric are highly cut resistant, as they can flex in multiple direction and also move and slide with respect to each other. The tote may have a gusseted base with a base-side sleeve extending at the intersection of the base and sides to allow the tote to be free standing. An opening in the top of the tote may have a closure feature, such as hook-and-loop fastener material.

Abstract: A grenade pouch lid has a rim engagement feature, and the rim engagement feature is operable to secure the planar body to an object having a disc-shaped rim when the rim engagement feature is urged against the rim. The rim engagement feature may include at least two spaced apart elements defining a space therebetween for receiving the rim. The planar body may include a slot, the slot being operable to receive one end of a strap. The planar body may include a wedge shaped portion, the wedge-shaped portion being opposed to the rim engagement feature. The rim engagement feature and the rim may have the same radius. The planar body may cover the center of the rim when the planar body is secured to the object. The object having a disc-shaped rim may be a 40 mm grenade. A grenade pouch is also disclosed.

Abstract: A Cat Litter Box System with a litter box or other indoor cat bathroom media and a collapsible, two level animal litter containing apparatus having a ground level with an enclosed bathroom area compartment and a second level with an entrance and exit compartment that is easy for a cat or other pet to access is provided. Preferably a recloseable side opening is provided on the ground level of the containing apparatus for ease of cleaning.

Abstract: The present disclosure can be embodied by a detachable assembly, for example a helmet and headphone assembly. A locking assembly can be configured to removably attach the headphones to the helmet in a locked position. In the locked position, the headphones can be locked horizontally onto the helmet, and a portion of ear cups of the headphones may be received at least partially through a pair of ear cup receiving apertures that extend through a shell of the helmet.

Abstract: A pet ramp is provided having two panels in a collapsible arrangement, with a first panel having legs and a second panel able to be cantilevered from the first panel. The second panel extends beyond the legs and is pivotable to rest on any available surface. A stop is provided between the first and second panels to hold a cantilevered deployed position of the second panel.

Abstract: A multistage wheel drive includes primary and secondary planetary stages, in which the ring gear of the primary (i.e., input-side) planetary stage is formed from a single machined part which also includes the planet gear carrier of the secondary (i.e., output-side) planetary stage. This dual-function “combination” component includes a splined exterior surface which interfaces with a correspondingly splined interior surface on the spindle in order to rotationally fix the combination component to the spindle. This arrangement ensures concentricity between the primary and secondary planetary stages, while allowing a desired amount of radial tolerance between the spindle, the combination component, and the hub of the wheel drive. In addition, the present arrangement can be produced efficiently and inexpensively.

Abstract: A game board and system is provided for hockey-type play and shooting skill development. The board comprises one or more target holes configured to be substantially prismatic in shape and impact the ability of a puck to pass through depending on its orientation when it reaches a target hole opening. Netting is used beneath target holes to receive pucks. Legs are used to prop the board up at an angle for game play and folded or detached for board storage and transport. To enhance game play, and render the system modular and lightweight the game board system can integrate framing elements and constructed using a variety of materials such as metals, wood-based products, plastic, and fabric. In one configuration the game board system includes metal framing fitted with netting and attached to the underside of the game board to configure the target holes as miniature hockey nets.

Abstract: A coupling for transmitting torque between two shafts has arcuate coupling segments. Each coupling segment has first and second shoes, which are adapted to be operatively attached to the shafts. The first and second shoes each have an inside surface with an inside diameter and an outside surface with an outside diameter. Each coupling segment has elastomer material extending between the first and second shoes. The elastomer material is in contact with portions of the inside surface and the outside surface of each first and second shoe. The elastomer material has a first diameter that is greater than the outside diameter of the first and second shoes and has a second diameter that is less than the inside diameter of the first and second shoes. An arcuate cavity is located inside the elastomer material.

Abstract: One aspect of this disclosure is a sliding apparatus. In some aspects, the sliding apparatus may comprise an elongated body containing magnets. The elongated body may comprise a toe end, a tail end, a top surface, and a slide surface. In one aspect, the magnets may be located between the toe and tail ends of the elongated body, spaced apart from one another in the elongated body, and polarized to define top poles oriented toward the top surface of the elongated body and bottom poles oriented toward the slide surface of the elongated body. For example, the magnets may be arranged so the bottom poles have alternating polarities in a direction relative to the elongated body. Related apparatus and systems also are disclosed.
