  • Patent number: 10682028
Abstract: A soft wall curtain cleaner having an elongated handle over which a slidable handle sleeve is slidably mounted. The handle is connected to a proximate cleaning pad mount. The sleeve includes a support arm which extends past the proximate cleaning pad mount and supports a distal cleaning pad mount oriented generally parallel to the proximate cleaning pad mount. Cleaning pads are mounted on the mounts. In use, the spaced mounts and their associated cleaning pads can be slipped over a curtain strip. The user can then hold the handle in one hand and the slidable handle sleeve in the other, and pull the slidable sleeve towards the user, such that the two cleaning pads firmly engage both sides of the curtain strip. The user then forces the assembly downwardly such that the cleaning pads slide downwardly over the curtain strip and clean it on both sides, throughout its length.

  • Patent number: 10682034
Abstract: A mop or like cleaning implement with a fluid reservoir and dispensing handle and with an integral refill/add-on reservoir receiver which embraces the handle. A refill/add on reservoir fluid container is inserted into the receiver to supplement and/or replenish the volume of liquid contained in the fluid reservoir handle. The refill fluid container can be removed and replaced when empty. The reservoir and dispensing handle can be filled and refilled independently of the refill fluid container, or can be refilled using the refill container. Either way, a refill container can be inserted into the refill receiver to supplement the volume of fluid in the reservoir handle.

  • Patent number: 10421573
Abstract: A linen hamper made of a light weight tubular frame for releasably securing a hamper bag includes an open top which can be closed by a pivotally mounted lid. The lid is connected to a foot pedal pivotally mounted on the frame, by an adjustable control rod pivotally connected to each. A closing cylinder is biased to close the lid when pressure is removed from the foot pedal. However, the control rod is adjustable to a second state in which the pivot point of its connection to the lid is aligned or is over center relative to the pivot point of the lid, and with respect to the closing force exerted by the control rod on the lid, such that the closing cylinder cannot close the lid until the lid is tapped forwardly slightly.

  • Patent number: 10407944
Abstract: A magnetic lock which requires only a single magnet for operation, yet which is biased into a locking position. A latch is slideably mounted in a slide way defined by a housing with a latch opening at one end. The latch comprises a magnet at its base, and a latch positioner of ferromagnetic material is positioned within the housing alongside the latch. The positioner is longer than the magnet, such that the magnetic field biases the magnet to locate at the center of the length of the latch positioner. The latch itself is sufficiently long that it projects beyond the latch opening of the housing when the magnet is allowed to center. The slide way is open below the magnet a sufficient distance that when a “key” of a ferromagnetic, or optionally magnetic, material, is located near the base of the housing, the magnet and its associated latch are drawn further into the housing a sufficient distance that the latch is drawn out of the way of an associated catch.

  • Patent number: 9741189
Abstract: A utility cart includes a cabinet with a latch and strike lock, which is unlocked in the presence of a passive near field RFID key device and held open by a latch controller for sufficient time to allow the user to open the unlocked cabinet door. The latch is biased to its locking position, to which it returns when released by the controller. The latch includes a ramp surface which is engaged by the leading edge of the strike as the cabinet door is closed. In this way, the strike pushes the latch out of the way as it passes over the end of the latch, and the biased latch then returns to its locking position engaging a keeper in the strike as the keeper passes into position opposite the latch.
