Abstract: The cosmetic brush (1), which is designed as an injection-molded plastic piece, is in particular a mascara brush or a hair coloring brush. It has a bristle section (2) having a main body (5) and a multiplicity of bristles (6, 7) that project out from the main body (5) and with which a cosmetic product can be applied. A portion of the bristles forms first bristles (6) that are integrally connected to the main body (5), wherein the first bristles (6) consist of the same first plastic material as the main body (5). Another portion of the bristles forms second bristles (7) that are connected to the main body (5) differently than the first bristles (6).

Abstract: In an applicator for the application of cosmetic products such as mascara, comprising an oblong base body with a wand extension and a plurality of disc-like fitting elements which are arranged substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the base body at a distance from one another, it is provided that the fitting comprises at least two segments, in particular halves, whose fitting elements are arranged at a different distance X1 or X2, respectively, from one another when seen in the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: Brush ware comprising at least one carrier and bristles made from a moldable plastic material disposed thereon, is produced by providing the carrier with through holes acting like spinning nozzles, to which bristle-shaped molding channels join and a plastic melt for the bristles is injected from at least one side of the carrier—the feed side of the melt—through the holes into the channels thereby forming the bristles, wherein the through holes have a minimal width along at least a portion of their length which is ?3 mm and the ratio between this width and the flow path of the melt resulting from the depth of the through holes plus the length of the channels is ?1:5. A device for carrying out the method and brush ware produced in accordance with the method is also described.

A transparent or translucent material is provided as container material. Abstract: In an applicator for a cosmetic product comprising a rod and an application surface made of a relatively soft material and extending obliquely to the longitudinal axis of the rod, provision is made for said application surface to be formed by a plurality of cones arranged parallel to each other, wherein a fictitious outer envelope and the height of the cone define an application volume for a relatively highly viscous cosmetic product from 10 to 60 mm3.

Abstract: An applicator rod, at the distal end of which an applicator for a cosmetic product is arranged, and the proximal end of which is designed to be connected to a sealing cap, in particular, a screw cap, for a container for holding the cosmetic product, the rod being made of injection-moulded plastic, and being characterised in that it is essentially hollow in form.

Abstract: In a mascara brush comprising a plurality of bristles which stand out radially and are held between two intertwisted wires, with the tips of the bristles varying in length in such a way that the bristle tips form envelope sections which, seen in the circumferential direction, lie radially further outwards and radially further inwards, it is provided that, seen in the circumferential direction, the envelope sections formed by longer bristles are shorter than the envelope sections formed by shorter bristles; that the envelope sections are convex; and that the length of the shorter bristles increases progressively in the circumferential direction and corresponding to the radius of curvature of the associated envelope sections.
