Abstract: The present invention relates to a spray-coating gun (1) for the spray coating of objects with coating powder. The front end region of the spray-coating gun (1) has a coating-powder spray head (5) and the opposite, rear end region of said spray-coating gun has a coating-powder connection (12) and at least one compressed-gas connection (13, 14). Coating powder can be supplied via the coating-powder connection (12) to a coating-powder channel (11, 26) extending to the coating-powder spray head (5), while compressed gas can be supplied via the at least one compressed-gas connection (13, 14) to at least one compressed-gas channel (9, 28; 10, 29) extending to the front end region of the spray-coating gun (1).
Abstract: An oscillator (100) for providing an oscillating voltage for a powder spray coating device (200) is specified. With the aim of improving operational safety, the oscillator (100) as claimed in the invention has a first signal generator (10) for generating an intermediate circuit voltage (11), a second signal generator (20) for generating a modulation signal (21) and a modulation signal isolating element (61), connected to the second signal generator (20), while a first voltage monitoring device (60) is also provided, designed for continuously measuring the oscillator voltage (34), comparing it with at least one specified or specifiable oscillator voltage reference value and, if a first comparison criterion is satisfied, outputting a modulation isolating signal (80) to the modulation signal isolating element (61).
Abstract: A powder feed apparatus for a powder spraycoating equipment includes a dense phase powder pump fitted with at least one, or two feed chambers. Each of the feed chambers includes at one chamber end a powder intake valve and at the opposite chamber end a powder outlet valve and further includes at least one air exchange aperture to alternatingly apply compressed conveying air or a partial vacuum to the feed chamber. The apparatus further includes an integral structural block. The structural block includes the feed chambers and first control valves connected in fluid communication to at least one of feed chambers for the purpose of applying compressed conveying air and a partial vacuum to it. The first control valves are directly connected, in fluid communication via ducts constituted in the structural block, to at least one of the feed chambers.

Abstract: The invention relates to a screen insert (70) for a powder container (24) of a powder supplying device, the screen insert (70) having a screen unit (71) for screening coating powder and an ultrasonic transducer (72) for generating ultrasonic vibrations. The screen unit (71) is connected to the ultrasonic transducer (72) in such a way that the ultrasonic vibrations generated by the ultrasonic transducer (72) can be transferred to the screen unit (71). To allow a particularly compact construction of the screen insert (70) to be achieved, according to the invention a screen carrier (73) which can be placed onto the powder container (24) is provided, for holding the ultrasonic transducer (72), with the screen unit (71) connected thereto, in such a way that the screen unit (71) is arranged below the screen carrier (73), so that the screen unit (71) is inside a powder chamber (22), formed by the powder container (24), when the screen carrier (73) has been placed onto the powder container (24).
Abstract: The invention relates to a powder pump (100; 100?) for conveying coating powder, the powder pump (100; 100?) having a powder chamber (10; 10?) with a casing tube (1; 1?) and a gas-permeable filter element (2; 2?) arranged inside the casing tube (1; 1?) a first pinch valve (3; 3?), connected to the intake-side end region of the powder chamber (10; 10?), and a second pinch valve (4; 4?), connected to the delivery-side end region of the powder chamber (10; 10?). In order to achieve the effect that the powder pump (100; 100?) can be maintained with relatively little effort, according to the invention a first connection element (6; 6?) is provided, connected to the first pinch valve (3; 3?) and fitted onto or inserted into the intake-side end region of the powder chamber (10; 10?). A second connection element (7; 7?) is also provided, connected to the second pinch valve (4; 4?) and fitted onto or inserted into the delivery-side end region of the powder chamber (10; 10?).
Abstract: A powder spraycoating method and powder spraycoating equipment. A dense phase powder pump is used. According to a predetermined conveying-air function in a control unit, different rates of compressed conveying air can be defined for different powder rates. In one predetermined total-air function in the control unit, the sum of total-air rate composed of the rate of compressed conveying air and of the rate of supplemental compressed air can be kept constant even if the rate of compressed conveying air changes.

Abstract: A powder coating system comprising a plurality of supply containers and a connection changer having a plurality of supply connectors associated with a support member and each in fluid communication with at least one of the plurality of supply containers. The connection changer includes a movable delivery connector selectively and independently connectable to each of the plurality of supply connectors associated with the support member. A pump is in fluid communication with the delivery connector of the connection changer and at least one applicator is in fluid communication with the pump. Fluid communication from the delivery connector to the applicator defines a delivery portion of the system. The pump is disposed along the delivery portion of the system to apply negative pressure to the at least one selected supply container and draw its contents to the at least one applicator.
